Most Spectacular Miracles

We have seen some examples of miracles from the Catholic Church and the other early churches- Orthodox, Coptic…

Do Protestants not experience miracles or do they not recognize them as a part of their faiths?
 
The problem with a lot of Protestant churches is that they reject a lot of concepts, through which miracles are performed. By that I mean, they don’t honor St. Mary and the other Saints, so they doubt any miracles performed through them. They don’t think relilcs are of any importance, so they doubt miracles performed through them. They don’t believe in the real presence so they don’t believe in the Eucharistic Miracles.

I once showed a Baptist the miracle of the Holy Fire on a website and he told me that he doesn’t think its a miracle from Christ? I mean give me a break! Those people are there to worship Christ, and a miracle that occurs every year, and only strengthens these people’s faith in Christ is not from Christ? Explain that to me!

So, they do acknowledge miracles, but from a different point of view. Like if you ask a Protestant to tell you about a miracle, it is typically not a tangible one like the ones listed above, but more similar to the…my car flipped over 20 times, and I walked out without a scratch type of miracle.

Does this make sense?

In the Gospels, there was an incident where people were asking Jesus for a sign (ie. asking Jesus for a miracle).

Jesus responded by saying this: “This evil generation asks for a sign. No sign shall be given but the sigh of Jonah.”

It does not surprise me when evil doers are not contented with any miracle you point out to them. They will always have some argument and they want more examples of miracles from you.

In the Book of Jonah, EVIL DOERS REPENTED. JONAH’S PROHECY OF “40 DAYS AND NINIVEH WILL BE DESTROYED WAS CANCELLED BY GOD.”

If we can mention the numerous examples that you all metioned above, ie Miracles of the Holy Eucharist, Marian Apparitions, bodies of Saints and holy people which did not decay, etc, etc, it might be, (though not always) that somebody tried his, her best to keep the commandments, had great faith, and kept pestering God with his/ her pleas, asking ,asking, asking, asking,asking.

So when God answers the prayers of such person, then what the person was asking might come true if it is consistent with the will of the Father and if the Father decides to accede to the request WITHOUT EVEN ALTERING IT BECAUSE IT IS PRACTICALLY CONSISTENT WITH HIS WILL THAT"S WHY YOU CAN SAY TO THE FATHER, “IN JESUS NAME.” And when that happens, others looking at it will say, “THE PROPHECY HAS COME TRUE!!!” BUT IT MIGHT BE SIMPLY GOD ANSWERING THE PRAYER OF A PERSON EXACTLY AS WAS ASKED AND ASKED AND ASKED AND ASKED AND ASKED BY THE PERSON.

When such predictions or prophecies are answered exactly by God with little or no alterations, SUCH BECOME EXAMPLES OF PROPHECIES OR MIRACLES THAT WE CAN SHARE WITH OTHERS. But maybe because of sins, some people, even when presented examples of authentic miracles, still they cannot see God doing the miracle. Sins have blinded them. Biologically, it might be that neuron (name removed by moderator)uts, outputs, interconnections in their brains are wired and fired differently from people who keep the commandments. FOR SUCH PEOPLE, GOD’S ADVICE I THINK IS, “NO SIGN SHALL BE GIVEN BUT THE SIGN OF JONAH.”

For the atheist who does not believe in God or an afterlife, evidence of a suprenatural event or phenomenon or a lot of evidence of supernatural evnts could be the bit of evidence that they need to bridge the gap between belief in things only in the realm of science and the concept of a being and spiritual world far greater than us humans.

…All of these could be miracles; I’m not saying they aren’t. I’m just explaining why I am skeptical.

The other posters are probably right when they say that miracles don’t lead to faith, or that faith is not built on miracles alone. To bad, it would be nice if it were that easy.

Day after Ressurection ----deadly Sumatra Earthquake #2

Day after Ascension ------- deadly Sumatra Earthquake #3 ???

I managed to show a few hundred people in the internet this pattern of Sumatra Deadly earthquakes and Feastdays of the Roman Catholic Church before Ascension.

A certain “Gail” in Catholic Answers also noticed this pattern. I’m sure others also did.

Because of the Book of Jonah, where Jonah was announcing to the Ninivites 40 days and Niniveh will be destroyed, because Jesus Himself mentioned Jonah in the Gospels, “This evil generation asks for a sign. No sign shall be given but the sign of Jonah”, because God did not destroy Niniveh as a result of people’s repentance, BECAUSE 40 DAYS AFTER THE RESSURECTION IS ASCENSION, ------ I said to people in the internet, abstain, fast from sins and pray, not just once, but pray, pray, pray, pray to God not to send a deadly earthquake in Sumatra “day after ascencion”, nor any other day in the future, nor any other place in the world. Send instead many small earthquakes but of course, not my will, not our will, BUT THY WILL OH FATHER BE DONE.

About a week after I first started showing this pattern of Catholic Feastdays and Sumatra deadly earthquakes, I heard on the radio that some people were saying that the next big earthquake in Sumatra will be May 5, 2005 because certain heavenly bodies will be aligned. Then I could see that the the Mexicans and Hispanics had this annual celebration of Cinco De Mayo (meaning 5th of May). I have no Church Calendar and could not find any in the internet and so just counted 40 days after Ressurection. JUST AS I SUSPECTED, 40 DAYS AFTER RESSURECTION WAS MAY 5, 2005. I said to myself when I first heard about those heavenly bodies on the radio - the devil and people are pirating the pattern of feastdays and Sumatra deadly earthquakes.

However, on the Sunday before Ressurection, I got the Church paper that they give to everybody, and when I looked at the feastdays, I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE NO RESSURECTION FEAST ON MAY 5. THE FEAST OF THE ASCENCION WAS MOVED TO SUNDAY!!!

Not only that, I met a lady friend in the Supermarket, and on her neck was this 4 inch cross which she was wearing outside of her clothes. Ascencion Sunday, after mass, I saw this stranger riding a lawnmower. I asked him if he cuts grasses for other people. He said he does. He asked me where the property is and it so happened that he lives in the very same street and just a block away where our property is. As we had our conversation in front of the property, a vacant lot with some tall grasses, he said to me, " DO YOU KNOW JESUS"? I said to him a couple of minutes later, you are exactly the guy I need. Then I told him about the Sumatra Earthquakes and the Catholic Church Feastdays and asked him to abstain from sins and ask God not to send a deadly Sumatra Earthquake tommorow. Do these look like God sending the nececessary people???

Around May 10, I checked the internet, and found out that indeed an EARTHQUAKE WITH MAGNITUDE OF 5.6 OCCURED IN NORTH SUMATRA DAY AFTER ASCENCION SUNDAY.

I checked the days before and after but there were no Sumatra earthquakes close to this magnitude at all.

This might be a good example of a Miracle that CAN BE VERIFIED. I POSTED THIS IN SEVERAL WEBSITES, IN FACT WITH INCIDENTS STARTING DEC 25, 2004 WHEN I PROPOSED PUTTING THOUSANDS OF WINDMILLS IN THE SULU ARCHIPELAGO TO BETTER THE LIVES OF MUSLIM FILIPINOS. I WAS SURPRISED BECAUSE THE NEXT DAY, THE SUMATRA EARTHQUAKE-TSUNAMISES OCCURED. BUT DESPITE THE FACT THAT SULU, PHILIPPINES WAS JUST NEXT DOOR TO SUMATRA WHICH MOVED SOME 90 FEET DESPITE SUMATRA THE SIZE OF FLORIDA, NOBODY IN PHILIPPINE TERRITORY DIED FROM THE EARTHQUAKE!!! BUT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIED ACROSS SEVERAL TIME ZONES ALL THE WAY TO EAST AFRICA!!!

Also, around May 10 as I was searching the internet, I came across a website where a certain man with name that sounds Chinese and might be a scientist, and he especializes in predicting earthquakes. MY PATTERN OR CORRELATION OF CATHOLIC CHURCH FEASTDAYS AND DEADLY SUMATRA EARTHQUAKES IS ACCURATE AND HIS DOES NOT EVEN COME CLOSE. AND MY EXPECTATION OF DAY AFTER ASCENCION AS A DAY OF CONCERN INDEED CAME TRUE!!! AND THE 3RD SUMATRA EARTHQUAKE WAS NOT DEADLY, JUST AS I ASKED PEOPLE TO ASK GOD!!! BELIEVE AND THANK GOD FOR HIS DIVINE MERCY!!!
