Most traditional Society in communion with rome?

I am pretty sure i have a vocation to the priesthood, and i have been looking at many different possibilities. I am very traditional, so i have been looking at societies such as the fraternity of st peter, institute of christ the king,institute of the good sheperd, etc. I wouldnt consider joining the sspx until they are reconciled with rome. I speak french so i would have no problem going to the seminaries of the icrss and the institute of the good sheperd.

What society do you believe to be the most traditional in doctrine and liturgy?

I would say it’s a tie between the FSSP and the ICRSS. I will be praying for you and your vocation to the priesthood. 🙂 God bless!
 
Is the Catholic Church itself not traditional? Isn’t that its main claim to fame?
 
If they are in communino with Rome then they are all good. Why not see if you can visit them and see what they are like and see if they would like you. Then make you choice based on that.

There is also the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. They have always been in Full Communion with the Church and are supposed to have an excellent seminary. 🙂

oh…sorry didn’t realize that that is the ICRSS lol, my bad.
 
The Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest is very traditional. I have visited the seminary in Italy and it is very beautiful. They speak French there, as I think you already know, so you would be all set! I wish you the best for your future.
 
I’m assuming that your preference is the EF Mass and devotions. With that said then you have a couple of choices as has already been mentioned. You might also look at the Benedictines of Clear Creek, or the monks on Papa Stronsay, or the Carmelites of Wyoming. They have all recently had some of their brothers ordained.

No one has a vocation until the Church says you do - by the bishop ordaining you, or the institue accepting your vows. The best way to begin discernment to the priesthood is with your diocesean vocations director. Call and ask about the process. Once you have some general information you can begin to contact different organizations. Expect them to have quite a few questions and criteria for you as well.
