Most wars are caused by religious people?

Amateur sociology here, but… seems to me most wars are fought for economic reasons. The haves against the have nots. Someone feels like they’re getting a bum deal and decide to take what they want/need. We want what you have but don’t want to pay for it. Many were directly related to the political and social damage caused by colonialism or imperialism. Advancing economic industrial social “progress” is good, but difficult and often dangerous.

Religion gets hijacked for political, economic or social reasons. No doubt most “extremist” muslims are not at the top of the socio economic ladder in their own countries. They are recruited because they are easiest to recruit.

Despite the difficulties we face at home, it is still better for all of us in the long run if we could raise the quality of life for everyone. There will always be economic differentiation but it would help to narrow the gaps.

ALL WARS ARE FOUGHT BY PEOPLE WHO WERE NOT KILLED IN THEIR SLEEP, PRIOR TO, THE MORNING OF.

Human Nature and Physics have not changed, and will not change in any perceivable multiple of the entire human existance. You have needs, you fill of those what you can, you coalesce with those that facilitate and tolerate the rest until you are compelled to terminate them. YOU ARE STUCK ON A PLANET, but even if / when Mankind fills the Universe, you will still be shackled to your PERMANENT daily struggle with your environment and time. You will ALWAYS (while you “exist”) need food / water / shelter, AND THE ONLY THING, that might keep you from killing for such things (should the proper level of scarcity occur), is if you first killed yourself. History has already spoken. This game has already been played-out. [loosely paraphrased from TERMS, J.M. Thomas R., 2012].

PRAISE GOD YOUR CREATOR, embrace and hold dear your Christianity and Catholicism, but do not **** and moan about WAR, especially when it is called for, and don’t bemoan the U.S. for providing war fighters when they are dear (Tarpeian has read or heard Shakespear’s St. Crispin’s soliloqy). GOD has allowed such creatures to flourish and multiply. They praise HIM, and the rest of you reap the Blessings received.

If you think that WAR is something enjoyed by any of the combatants, THAT WILL BE JUST ONE MORE WAY THAT YOU ARE WRONG! But buck-up people, quit being such soft-cheese. Weakness is provocative, and provocation causes wars.

It’s strange you should mention St. Crispin. I made my son’s watch the clip on Youtube about 2 months ago. They had no idea "Captain Winter’s, in Band of Brother’s was referencing him in the documentary they did in the mini series special features:)
