Dear Friends,

I wanted to share with you this video youtube.com/watch?v=oCvX94US7SY I am a big fan of Mother Angelica and to me she expresses exactly how I feel about many things.

I think she is wonderful!
I saw this on Voris’ site. I never knew about this before he showed it. I think it is a crime that EWTN has made it hard to find this video of Mother Angelica. She is a living saint amongst us, who like Christ, wanted to whip out the thieves and money changers to purify God’s house. Luckily for her, God is going to win the war. 👍

Couldn’t agree with you more my friend. I agree with a lot of what Voris says as well, I mean not “every” word but I have a lot of respect for the man and what he is doing! We need more people like them, however, there are those in the Church who will always despise Mother A and Voris.

The real problem is that today, it is hard to criticize these thing without being labeled as uncharitable or as some traditionalist that stands in the way of “progress”. Could you imagine a thread on the Doctrine of the Few? I feel that we would all be banned.

Mother Angelica is one of a kind! I have a case of true hero worship for her and what an example she sets today for many of the clergy who appear too timid to tell it like it is.

Yeah the word ‘charitable’ has become somewhat of a trigger word within Catholicism much like the word ‘hater’ is bandied about these days. Fact is no matter how ‘charitable’ one is in proclaiming the Truth of Jesus Christ and His Church they will still be called ‘hater’, ‘bigot’, ‘intolerant’ and any other word that liberalism can come up with to bury the Truth in relativism.

In the past, Raymond Arroyo has brought up Mother Angelica’s temper. IIRC, he brought it up on The World Over.

I agree with every word Mother Angelica said.I just wish we all had her conviction.

Peace, Mat

I think it’s fair to say that the militant feminists have gone a long way backwards since the time of this video.

Does anyone remember Creator, redeemer and sanctifier?

No?

That’s great. :signofcross:

Missed that show, but I imagine Jesus showed “temper” too, as He drove the money changers out of His Father’s house.

I did see this before. Mother Angelica is Awesome. 👍 I really miss her live shows on EWTN but still watch the reruns. There is a place on
the EWTN website that you can offer prayers for her health and her intentions. I believe she is a living saint. :harp:

At my ‘Catholic’ university during my Theology course run by atheist feminists, our final year assessment asked us to outline what we thought it meant to be a Catholic today.

Having already enough marks to pass the class and noting that nowhere did it ask to reproduce the ‘dissenting liberal’ documents we were directed to read, I decided to let the professors ‘have it’.

I outlined exactly what I thought it meant to be a Catholic today highlighting Mother Angelica’s faithful witness and creativity in the modern digital age.

Needless to say the feminist professors went berserk and my grades for the class went from Distinction to Pass.

But it was worth it. 👍

We love you Mother Angelica. ❤️❤️

Does anyone know how old she is now?

She is 91 and her birthday is April 20. I remember the date since it’s the same as mine. She has suffered from several strokes. God Bless her.

If we submitted a video as did Mother, we’d be banned from this Forum. 😦
