Mother diagnosed w/ leukemia & other problems

Hello,

I humbly ask that you will pray for my mom who was recently diagnosed with acute leukemia. At 73, and having other health problems, her prognosis isn’t good. Please pray for health and that she can have strength and peace during this fight. Thank you.

I would also ask for prayers for myself. Doctors are currently running tests to see if I have a type of muscular dystrophy or a disease called Polymyositis. Out of the two the poly would be the best to have as there are treatments and ones health can be improved. I thank you in advance. God bless you all.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Joe_40’ Mother). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Joe_40’ Mother’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Joe_40’ Mother, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Lord please carry Joe and his mother through this traumatic time of their lives.

each time I pray for my sister-in-law undergoing treatment for leukaemia, I’ll include your mother.
And for you each time I pray for my dear older sister (who has Polymyisitis)

Thanks to everyone for their kind responses. We are very touched and blessed to have such a strong response. We both are in a wait-and-see mode right now. My mom has an appointment with the Mayo Clinic on Monday. I’m still waiting on results from my tests. I hope to find out soon. When I do I will post it here. Thank you all for your prayers!
