Mother hit her head which caused a stroke

My mother fell and hit her head on the concrete sidewalk. She had an MRI and the hit caused her to have a stroke in her left frontal temporal lobe. She was admitted to the hospital and will be monitored. The concern is that a worst stroke might occur. She is an alcoholic, so she is being detoxed since she can’t drink. It’s a touchy situation. She’s very sad and angry. Easter is her favorite holiday. She wouldn’t go to the hospital until she had prep work done for Easter dinner and now there won’t be one. My dad is also unwell. He is the one I’ve been requesting prayers for since last April (2016). He has in remission with AML and is being treated for a staph infection in his blood. I’m numb at the moment. Please pray for us. Thank you.

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Diem’s Mother 's body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
