Hi. My mother-in-law is fading away, in hospital again, unable to eat or drink. My mother-in-law is not Catholic nor a practising Christian. Please pray for her.

Her sister cut her off a few years ago and is at an unknown address. She has no idea that her sister is drawing close to death.
It is difficult for my depressed husband to see his mother like this.

Thank you for your prayers, Trishie

Lord Father of mercy bless this family, at this difficult hour.

Father, we beg of you to be merciful
upon this woman. Grant her son peace,
comfort, and strength to get through all of this.
We ask this in the name of Jesus!
AMEN

Trishie, have you asked your Pastor to visit her?
I will keep you all in my prayers. Tomorrow at Mass I will talk to Jesus about this during Holy Communion, asking him to especially be with your husband during this difficult time and most especially with his Mother. .(and you of course). I will say a prayer too that her and her sister will be able to forgive one another whatever it is that seperates them from each other.
You know to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in her presence right? I will pray a Holy Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy for her tonight. God bless you.

Thank you so much…and thank you all.

My mother-in-law doesn’t have a pastor and hasn’t called herself a Christian for over 60 years. She sees her own church as having disappeared long ago. She is English, and quite clear in her attitudes. I can only pray quietly for her. My husband’s wasn’t a religious family. Once I made the mistake of saying, “God bless you” to his Dad at the end of a phonecall. "I beg your pardon, he replied frostily. My husband also has no faith. It is not a family I would interfere with.

I am so thankful for your promise of those powerful prayers. All God’s loving blessings to you. I ask God to thank you for me. Trishie

Father, send Your comfort and strength to this family during their hour of need. Amen

I will pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for your mother-in-law.

Thank you so much for praying for my mother-inlaw and her family. I am so grateful too for the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
It is enormously comforting to know she has these wonderful prayers being offered for her soul.

I don’t have the magnificent prayers others offer (and they are beautiful!), just the standards for her, for your DH, and for you, the person who has to keep all the balls juggling in the air.

What more beautiful prayer than simple prayer from the heart. It doesn’t matter if there are many words or few, or even none. Thank you for your prayers. Trishie 🙂

Trishie do pray & ask Jesus to give you the courage to speak to your mother-in-law about Him. Praying for her salvation. God bless you.
