Mr 16:19 - So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Lu 22:69 - Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Ac 2:33 - Therefore being by the **right hand of God ** exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Ac 5:31 - Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Ac 7:55 - But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the **right hand of God, **

Ac 7:56 - And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Ro 8:34 - Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Col 3:1 - If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Heb 10:12 - But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Heb 12:2 - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the** right hand of the throne of God.**

1Pe 3:22 - Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Holy Spirit to complete the Trinity

The Holy Spirit moves through many including Mary.

But I think you have a different idea . . . .

I think Mary would be sitting at the right hand of Jesus. There doesn’t neccessarily have to be anyone on the left hand does there?

Yes I do. But we won’t really know for sure until that DAY. But to put it into another perspective, who normally sits at the left hand of any throne here on earth now and in the past? Just food for thought and further speculation.

Let’s ponder this as well. Why since Jesus ascended to sit at the right hand of God, that the only holy appartitions of notoriety are those of Mary.
  1. Jesus can’t be an apparation, otherwise that would violate the teaching of his second coming.
  2. Angels can’t do it, because we can’t distinquish between a Good angel and a Fallen angel.
  3. Can’t be a prophet of old, because everyone would claim him to be a false prophet that Jesus warned about.
So that leaves us with only Mary, so why is God sending his daughter? Why is the holy spirit sending his spiritual spouse? Why is Christ sending his mother?

I have been in the presence of “Our lady of Guadalupe” and have felt what I believe to be the true essence of God’s holiness, and that is coming from an ex-pentecostal…

Mary has had free reign to come and go and has exacted some huge miracles all over and the work she did on that cloak of tilma is exceptional…

No not really, but if God’s will on earth is as it is in heaven then…

So what does the Holy Ghost do there anyway? He doesnt get a spot?

Those who are condemned to everlasting hell.

Matthew 25:31-33.

Just wondering, what do you think of the apparations that St. Faustina had? I personally dont have a problem if Jesus appeared in appartions, since He did say that in His second coming those in the field and those inside will see it. Since apparitions are usually limited to a few people, if the Church did approve of such a thing I dont think it would be hard to accept.

I don’t have any knowledge of St. Faustina.

Other than that nobody has answered why the Trinity is sending Mary and/or giving her free reign to travel to and fro and make herself known to a few select.

That just points to the sorting process. It does not denote who actually might be sitting on the left side of God for all eternity or even right now.

I will say it out loud, I BELIEVE MARY TO BE SITTING AT THE LEFT SIDE OF GOD. Afterall that belief goes with the concept that Mary is the Queen Mother and all the other queen titles bestowed upon her.

As far as I know the Holy Ghost is very busy inhabiting each one of us that believeth in Jesus as our Messiah. As for the Holy Ghost sitting at the left side of God, there is no biblical proof of that just as their is no biblical proof of anyone sitting at the left side such as Mary.

Catholics believe that Mary was bodily assumed into heaven as to not undergo the corruption of the grave. The biblical proof of this is Revelations 12 and even then the implicity of it is very vague indeed, but we believe nonetheless, so why is it so hard to believe that Mary could be sitting at the left side(and in no-way does that suggest she is the a fourth member of the Godhead)?

Before anyone comments on this, they need to go back and review all the arguments for Mary being the Mother of God, co-redemptarix, etc.

So the Father Son and Holy Ghost is the Trinity

And Father and Son are on the throne and the Holy Ghost is busy inhabiting us. So Mary is in that spot instead.

You are not saying Mary is a 4th that shes a 3rd cause one of them is too busy. Sorry IF there is a spot to fill it would be the Holy Ghosts, sure like you said maybe no biblical proof but sometimes logic can factor into things. Trinity.

Wheres Mary, we agree we dont know, the only thing I know thats biblical is we are to call her blessed.

Well, if you look at The Apprentice, you’ll see that George is to the right of the Donald and Carolyn is to his left, so maybe you have a point! 😃

👍 KIDDING!

But really, do you ever hear anybody say, “Yeah, (s)he’s my* left * hand (wo)man!” Do big wigs have a left hand man?? The VP would be considered POTUS’ right hand man, so who would be his left hand man?

Sorry, just some rambling…

Well for that matter, Peter could be sitting at the left hand… LOL!

I am just speculating that she is, just like you are specualting that the Holy Spirit is sitting there.

QUOTE]

There is no proof either way. But we can take a look at this scripture and analyze it.

Matthew 20:20-23
20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. 21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

One could, based on the comment by Jesus, that their could 3 dias in the throne room of God. One being in the center with God in a chair with an empty left and right seat, then the right hand dias with the throne of Jesus with an empty right and left hand seats, and then finally the dias on the left side of god which has the Holy Spirit would be seated with an empty right or left hand seat. The only problem with the belief that the holy spirit is sitting at the left side is that the Holy Spirit is a spirit and has no corporeal body and is everywhere simultaneously dwelling within the righteous.

Or the “Right Hand of God” is just symbolic and figurative in every scripture meaning that the throne of God contains both God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and there are 2 empty seats that shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father

So what does that Scripture mean to you?

I don’t know myself, I can only speculate.

Kitty Chan:

Do you really call her “Blessed”?

And if you do, do you do it with any frequency other than at Christmas time?

And if you do do it with any frequency, do you do it while witnessing to others?

Here is the ultimate challenge to you if you believe that the Bible and it is the unerroring Word of God: Make that prophecy Mary made a reality by standing up in the midst of the congregation of your Protestant church and declare loudly and affirmatively that
Mary is Blessed :amen:

Could you do this challenge, if not, then your belief that Mary is blessed is just empty lip service.

Good Day… 😦

I doubt that anyone can answer why God does what He does. He does things in His own ways and it is not for us to know but only to obey. Also it is not required that anyone believe at all in any private revelation nor in any apparitons. I dont think that it is prudent though for someone to deny something they dont understand based on the fact that other humans cannot fully explain it either due to our limited understanding.

St. Faustina was a nun in Poland who received from Jesus in visions the divine mercy prayer, along with other things He spoke with her about. (Read “The Diary of St. Faustina”)
:blessyou:

The Virgin Mary has made a home in Medjugorje and has called millions of people to her and has caused many thousands of conversions. It truly is a special place. Why don’t you go there and ask her.

Both St. Therese (The little flower) and St. Faustina were visited by Jesus and many wonderful graces flow through them to us.

Jesus is amazing!

Peace!

Are both of these recognized and given the seal of approval from the Vatican?
