Mother of seven has brain tumor, had small stroke

There’s a family in our parish that has seven kids – a mix of biological and adopted.

The mom has been having debilitating migraines for a couple years at least. I guess she had some other symptoms recently, because she got an MRI last month that revealed a brain tumor. It’s benign, but now she seems to have something else going on in a different part of her brain. And today she had a small stroke.

My heart it breaking for this family, especially as the adopted children have already been through traumatic experiences in their lives. The youngest is just eight.

Please join me in praying for this woman, her husband, and their children.
 
I pray that God heals this woman of her health problems and that He comforts her family and friends. May He also prevent her from having another stroke. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Mother of seven that has brain tumor). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Mother of seven that has brain tumor’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

A quick update:

I heard from the family, that she has recovered fully from the incident on Monday, but she still has a brain tumor and some other brain anomalies that are causing her to be bed-ridden much of the time.

The family is grateful for our continued prayers!
 
Dear Jesus, in Your name please help this woman and her family, and help the doctors to figure out how to best treat her brain conditions so she can regain her health and continue to care for all of her children. Please also give strength to her husband and children to cope during this difficult time. Amen.
