Here is a fairly interesting article. She did a lot of good no question but she is certainly no saint.
foxnews.com/story/0,2933,295772,00.html
This is the only thing that Fox had to say bad about MT:
Mother Teresa was not beloved by all. She was criticized for taking donations from Haitian dictator Jean Claude Duvalier and disgraced American financier Charles Keating. Detractors opposed her stance against birth-control use in Calcutta’s slums
.

This not bad it doesn’t prove anything bad.

The second article does not seem to be credible but for argument sack I will try to point out some things from it as if it was creditable.
The Roman Catholic Church is doing all she can to accelerate the church procedure, for the sooner Teresa is declared a “saint”, the sooner the church will sell statues, images, relics and all sorts of stuff representing Mother Teresa.
Sainthood is not taken as lightly as this and any real research will prove this.
The testimony of Susan Shields who worked nine and a half years for Teresa’s order is striking. It is a shame that her manuscript had failed to find a publisher
Susan Shields is will known for her hatred for MT not a very good source. IMHO
Christopher Hitchens who has written columns for Vanity Fair and The Nation questions Teresa’s involvement with other personalities
Hitchens who writes with such hatred and unchristian like charity of others especially the CC is very much a bad example to go by.

I am sorry I really get sick to my stomach when so many people have such hateful things to say about someone who has done so much good. I equate any slander against MT as the same slandering the great MLK. It just isn’t right, yes they were human and sinners but they did so much good. MT did so much good and those who feel it their own personal mission to tear her apart are being lead by satan himself in this.

I once read a study that stated that 60% of Americans believe that MT was not a saint but those same 60% thought they themselves were a shoe-in for heaven. Makes you think.

I really wouldn’t give this article any credibility whatsoever. This article is on a web site that belongs to an anti-cult organization whose mission is to enlighten everyone to fundamental, Biblical truth. As such, it rejects Catholicism altogether. How could we possibly expect it to be objective about Mother Teresa?

We need to consider the source whenever we read things on the Internet.

Same with Christopher Hitchens. He’s a pompous crank who rejects religion altogether. How could he possibly begin to understand someone like Mother Teresa?

“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)

lol @ shyster mother teresa.

I truly disagree with the heartfelt sympathy people give her in defence of her blatant, and fraudulant lifestyle.

She had a fleet of sports cars, properties in St Tropez, Marbella, and Beverley Hills, as well as a 90ft Yacht moored off Dubai.

Wake up people, not is all as it seems!!
Where did you hear this nonsense. If your hatred stems from your hatred of the Catholic Church, you’re just being arrogant. Show us proof of Mother Teresa’s extravegance.

In 1992 she intervened with a court in Los Angeles, which was about to sentence Charles Keating, the biggest fraud and embezzler in American history. His S & L racket stole a total of $252 million, mainly from small and poor depositors. A strong Catholic and right-wing campaigner against pornography in his spare time, Keating gave Mother Teresa $1,250,000 in cash and the use of a private jet, in return for which she gave him many useful endorsements, including a character reference to the court. The court had asked Mother Teresa to return Keating’s donations, which may well have been stolen, but she never replied to the request.

Dodgy dealings indeed.

On a more lighthearted not.
When Mother Teresa died she went straight to heaven. Upon her arival St. Peter informed her that they’ve been expecting her. She was the given her Angel wings for all the great work she did on earth and her angel Halo.Later on that day Mother Teresa was walking around heaven when she saw Princess Diana with an even bigger Halo! Teresa got pissed off, and went to see St. Peter, and asked "After all of my years sacrificing for the poor and the needy, I get a Halo this small. But Diana only took a couple of pictures with some landmine kids and got an even bigger Halo than me!"St. Peter replied, “That’s not a Halo… That’s the steering wheel…”
absolutely not funny and in bad taste. Shame on you.

Here is a relatively balanced article on the work of Mother Teresa:

frontlineonnet.com/fl1419/14190170.htm

It may be hard to argue with the criticism that she should have done more to figure out how to provide advanced medical care for some of the people her order was helping. But that still doesn’t subtract anything from the incredible volume of good work that they have done and continue to do.
