My mother passed away today at a little over 12 PM. My brother, sister, father, and I surrounded her this whole week while she lay in the hospital bed. It was only a month ago that she was diagnosed with cancer. Maybe it was a little blessing that she went so quick since the cancer was so invasive. I love her and miss her terribly, my two little girls won’t remember her when they are older except in pictures. Through all the sadness I’ve seen a beautiful thing. My father, they would be married 35 years this year, never left her side. He held her hand and caressed her face the whole time. He spoke so gently into her ear and told her over and over that he loved her and that he promised on their wedding day to be with her no matter what. He kept praying for her hour after hour after hour. Please pray for him as well. He exemplified Christ in so man ways.
I was so happy that we had a wonderful priest come in and give her the beautiful sacrament of last rites and final absolution. My mother never missed mass and was there with my father 1/2 hr early every Saturday to pray the rosary. Her 3 kids will miss her, her 5 grandchildren will miss her. May Christ give her the biggest hug in heaven and may she be forever happy with family members that have gone on before her. Love you mom…miss you lots

His light is better than life. May it shine upon her. May her soul be in bliss beyond all bliss.

I honor God for the love and grace that fills your family and is witnessed by you all.
I thank God for all the graces received by your mother and father and absorbed and shared by you their children.
I thank God for the joy that is mixed in your deep shared sorrow.
May God’s graces continue to flow and witness in your father and your families;
may God welcome your mother’s soul into eternal happiness and peace.

May God give you the peace that your beloved mother is experiencing as she meets Him face to face.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace.
Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace.
Amen.
Loving God,

We lift up our prayers that the dear mother of Roetting has met our Lord Jesus, and that he has taken her to that special place in his Father’s house that has been prepared just for her, as he promised us in the Gospel of John. We also pray for the gift of strength and consolation from the Holy Spirit for her husband and all family members as they continue their lives here on earth with the memories of dear mother.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.

"I rejoiced when I heard them say:
‘Let us go to God’s house.’
And now our feet are standing
within your gates, O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is built as a city strongly compact.
It is there that the tribes go up,
the tribes of the Lord.
For Israel’s law it is,
there to praise the Lord’s Name.
There were set the thrones of judgment
of the house of David.
For the peace of Jerusalem pray:
‘Peace be to your homes!
May peace reign in your walls,
in your palaces, peace!’
For the love of brethern and friends
I say, “Peace upon you!’
For the love of the house of the Lord
I will ask for your good.”

-Psalm 121

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Holy Mother Mary please bless this family and help them through their loss. Welcome your daughter home. May light perpetual shine upon her

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I too lost a parent as well as a grandparent
to my children many years ago so I know how you feel. I pray for you and your family
to find comfort in knowing that she is with the Good Lord and at peace and out of pain.
As for your dad what a sweet man. As I too had a dad such as that and he is the person
that I lost years ago. Please find comfort in knowing that as time goes by it does get
a llittle easier but the love and memories are wiith us forever.

God Bless you all,

Linda:signofcross:
