Hi everyone, my first post,
I’m not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I’ve been long-term suffering health issues and the church I go to has serious problems with the roof and I can smell the damp. It makes me sicker, it’s the only church in easy walking distance and that offers the Latin Mass. I’d wear a mould mask but i’m worried it might make me look like a thug and frighten people… any ideas? I don’t really think my calling is “mould martyrdom” but I don’t want to stop attending Mass either…

Talk to the church committee. If it’s affecting your health , it will be affecting everyone’s health.

Hi thank you for replying!
I’m a catechumen, so I don’t really feel able to, and I know the priest is already waiting for the bishop to give him a quarter of a million to fix it, but that isn’t enough. I was ill anyway, I do feel sorry for Father though.

Can you attend another church in the meantime, even if it’s not in Latin

None of my churches have mould.
What country are you in? It might be a localised issue with some buildings

It rains… a lot. The church is clean though (mould can be hidden but still bad.)
