I couldn’t find any thread discussing the movie about Gosnell that has been proposed by a team from Ireland. They are attempting to raise $2.1M in small donations on Indiegogo.com. They are given a certain amount of time in which to raise the funds. If they do not meet their goal, all of the funds will be returned to the donors.
In this case, $1.5M has been raised so far; they have 13 days in which to raise the remaining $600,000. They are asking the help of all those who have donated to contact as many others as possible, so that the goal can be reached. This is a very worthy cause, as the film will be very professionally done and will shed light on the horrors of the abortion clinic that was run by Gosnell. I have heard the Irish team on the radio and they have received the support of several Hollywood stars who have risked their futures in order to see that this movie is made. If you donate, you will receive a free copy of the DVD once the movie is completed.
I am hopeful that many will be able to donate a few dollars toward this very worthwhile cause. Please let your family members and friends know about this. Everyone who is opposed to abortion should feel a special obligation to see that the world is made aware of the filth and utter ungodliness of those who make a living by killing the most helpless of God’s creatures. Gosnell may have been the worst of the worst, but his actions brought about the same result. The media does not want anything to do with this; many who back independent films will have nothing to do with this. It is up to us who fight for the respect for all life to help this team to shine the light on what Gosnell did and to see that that particular brand of abortion “clinic” never happens again.
