Has anyone heard of this? My mom and I were just looking at what movies were out and she found a trailer for It. I think it’s coming out tomorrow and theaters are showing it tonight at 7. We’re going to see it, it looks pretty interesting.

I don’t think I’ve heard of it… Do you know what is it about? 🙂

I’ve seen the trailer. You can do so here:

Basically, it’s a movie about a Christian college student whose philosophy teacher teaches atheism in class. When the kid protests, the teacher challenges him to a debate on the existence of God.

It makes me wonder if they put off releasing info about it until right before it comes out!

From what I can remember it’s about a college student who takes a philosophy course and right off the bat the professor says “There is no God, God is dead” etc. and he makes the students do an assignment where they have to write that. But the student, a Christian, objects. And then it’s about his struggle between trying to stay true to God and going to this class with a professor who adamantly challenges him and tries to get him to give up.

I only saw the trailer once and want to avoid looking again in case there are nearby spoilers.

In other words, a variation on everyone’s experience in Philosophy 101 🤷
