Movie?

I’m watching The Prince of Egypt (1998) right now.

Is there a movie about Jesus and the New Testament of such a high quality as this one? An animated, kid-oriented one?

Try The Miracle Maker. It deals with Jesus ministry as seen through the eyes of the synagogue leader Jairus and his daughter.

It’s a good film that combines traditional and stop motion animation.
