For those who insist that there are no good Christian movies getting made - operative word here being “good” (which precludes the “God’s Not Dead” franchise) - here is ANOTHER ‘faith based’ movie that just tanked at the box office.

Rather than lament that there are no good movies anywhere as you pay your ticket for garbage like “The Emoji Movie” or “The Dark Tower,” ***why not look to see if movies like this one - it’s called “All Saints” - are showing at the theater? ***

Granted, this is an Episcopal church being depicted - not a Catholic church - but, still, there are still good, decent family-friendly films being made. In 2017:

It’s a great point. Perhaps for Hollywood’s attempt to reach faith-based viewers it’s too little, too late. Many, many people have simply shut it all down. They don’t even bother trying to find the one, lonely good movie amid the listings of swill.
Word of mouth is the best chance - so thanks for pointing this one out!
I actually look for adult movies rated PG - one of the rarest things to find. That can sometimes be an indicator.
There were some surprise hits for Hollywood in the faith-based genre. But as you say, many have simply tanked outright.
I think the faith-based competition has helped somewhat, as I’m noticing more family-friendly dramas, even though secular. Most comedies are still abysmal and it seems getting worse with raunchy-content and idiotic dialogue. Yes, comedies are supposed to be somewhat stupid, but what about some witty dialogue?

I have seen the previews. It looked like a good movie. I am sorry to hear it didn’t do
well at the box office. I still might see it.

It’s based on a true story. I’m planning to see it.
