We are looking to move properties, and one of the properties that is an option for us to move to has a lady currently living there who is a Medium and I’m unsure if it’s right that as Catholics we should move into a property where a Medium has lived because of what she has potentially done in the property in regards to her activity as a Medium etc. This is not the only property that is an option to move too. What are your views on this?

You can have the house blessed if it makes you feel more comfortable, or just say the St. Michael prayer. I’m pretty sure the former tenant’s demons are going to follow her rather than hang around and bother you.

I would seriously consider not moving in. Do mediums really talk to the dead? Catholic
priests involved with exorcism and the occult say that mediums are really speaking to demons, pretending to

be deceased people (unless the medium is a fake, of course). This may have a lasting influence on their

residence.

Just my humble opinion:

I would strongly suggest that you do not move into the house at all and quickly forget about it completely.

God bless you

My house was built in the 1920’s, and I know one of the former owners had a reputation for abusing foster kids. You never know who was living in your house before you, or what they did there. Getting it properly blessed by a priest is always a good rule of thumb, regardless.
