Moving to China?

Just wanted to update and let everyone who participated in this thread that we have decided against moving to China. Just the few days of single parenting I had to do while my husband went for his interviews was too much. I was worn out and the kids were beside themselves with missing daddy. There is no way we could bear the month or so of separation while we wait for our passports and visas to be processed, with him on the other side of the world. We decided that while this was a cool opportunity, now is not the right time. There are too many vulnerable people in our family, including myself, to manage this. Plus, I really don’t want to leave my OB. I feel safe with her.
Thank you to everyone who helped us to explore this concept. We aren’t giving up entirely on our idea, but rather just postponing it until our children, including the currently unborn, are all out of diapers!
