This does come up often and I’ve even started a thread like this before, but the circumstances are different.
I don’t advocate piracy and having everything you own be taken off the 'net. But I have occasionally watched movies [usually making sure to rent them shortly after or make sure they’ve been free on TV before] and mp3s of songs that one cannot easily get in the States. These are CDs which must be imported and are $40-$60 dollars-- I fully intend to buy these when they becoming cheaper, or I become richer.
Would the intent make this a venial sin, or would it still be mortal and should I start a “CD fund” ?
