This is the first time I have complained about a tv program-but this is the pits. It has a cult-like following and is tuned in to increase the doomsday preppers and drug taking youth. It is taking hold in the comic con scene and what gets to me the most is President Obama is on there giving a doomsday news update several times! This is not how he should be trying to reach the younger generation. I will name this psychovision on prime time tv. If you do let your children watch this please be present and discuss this show. The violent sex and self destruction are not needed to make the story line- just added for sensationalism.

Before anyone goes blaming Obama, he’s not actually on the show. They cut and splice footage of him from all manner of sources. It’s not real.

It looks real cool. I’ll probably be watching it sometime this fall once I find the time.

Don’t watch it. Has no appeal. Like “Preacher.” A strange, warped sense of “religion” with a cult-like following. Just saying…

I saw the first half of the first season and had mixed feelings.

On one hand, I loved the concept and the writing could be very good at times… But at other times, the writing was awful and none of the characters were very likable. I understand that they were going for grit, but people forgot that you can make even an irredeemable villain affable enough so you enjoy his screen time, and even flawed heroes have something likable about them.

Don’t know if I’d call it a cult like following. Preacher is an interesting take on religion, angels, demons, etc… however.
