The church bulletin stated: Much of the stress people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they’ve started.

There are many causes of stress: problems with family, death of a loved one, finances, differences in beliefs and values with a spouse or others, a family member in an institution or prison, an illness of self or others, being a single parent, divorce, and the list goes on.

The parish bulletin statement. Someone proposed it because it may be their most pressing stress. Causes of stress are many and varied.

100% of my stress is due to not trusting in God’s plan. 100%.

Whether it is financial, parenting, health, work, or my marriage, when I do the best I can and turn it over to God, I am at peace.

Otherwise, I have stress. It has nothing to do with the amount of work, or unfinished prjects, or anything specific to this world. It is a spiritual issue for me.
