Muslim Woman:

I am not interested in what Cat Stevens has to say about it. It is you who are commenting on this thread, so it is you who need to respond.

Not only was it Khadija and Waraqa who were the ‘annointers’ of the Muslim ‘prophet’, but Waraqa even got the name of the Messenger Angel wrong. In Islamic traditions, the phantasm at the Cave of Hira is called the ‘Namus’. Unfortunately for Islam, ‘namus’ is a Greek word for ‘Law’ and appears over 500 times in the Bible, but never refers to the Angel of the Lord.

If anyone is at all interested, I have a series of YouTube videos titled, ‘Muhammad, Satan and Biblical Theology’. It is a three part series on this exact subject.
I’ve subscribed to your site. Loved the vids. Really interesting. You mention Paltalk in the text comments for a debate. Do you debate there often?

Muslim Woman, can you verify that site is okay? Recently (ie, about a month ago) I was provided a link to Answering Christianity, and my virus checker popped up a warning. I’m not accusing you, however, people can change IP names to look similar. So I’m thinking that either the site has been contaminated outside of the site’s owners, or I was given a dummy addy for it.

All I’m asking, is have you recently been to that site yourself?
Good morning Chrisse -

The answering Christianity web site/link is filled with viruses.

I have not been in there at all, but one time I did a search through Yahoo search bar for “answering Christianity” because someone mentioned the site from another islamic muslim forum.

Once the search was over, my windows internet explorer marked the site and link with red bold letters… as “dangerous with virus”, so therefore I do not even go near it…

Best Regards

Wow. Comparing the Holy Trinity to the trinities of Buddhism and Hinduism? That just goes to show Islam has no idea what it’s talking about.
Indeed. But you clearly also don’t know what you are talking about when you talk about Hindus believing in “three gods.” I presume from your last wry post citing Wikipedia that you are aware of this. (If you seriously think that wikipedia is a good source for any religious subject requiring nuance, then there’s no point trying to have a reasonable conversation with you.)

first, this hadith has nothing to do with Muhammad changing the monotheistic creed by inserting his name alongside God’s, making his name equal to God’s.
Second, quoting one hadith will not negate another hadith. If in this hadith he said not to over praise him, in another hadith he said he must be loved more than the whole world. In the second hadith, the humble man forgot that he is not God.

Islamic Laws
The Qur’anic Teachings

What is Shirk?
-Taking human beings from among ourselves as Lords or patrons besides allah.
-Taking angels or prophets as Lords or patrons besides allah.
-Taking Ahbaar and Rahbaan (religious authorities) as Lords and patrons besides allah.
-Worshipping, obeying and adoring of anything besides allah.
-Taking Masters (wali) other than allah. to ascribe allah’s partners in his command or rule.
-To ascribe allah’s partners in his kingship or dominion.
-To ascribe allah’s partners in his lordship.
-To be divided into sects.
-Failing to establish the Just Economic System of Zakat
Agabriel, the Catholics are guilty of adopting all the above sinful beliefs. They have a Lord (Jesus) besdies God. They have other Lords beside Jesus too, in fact so greater Lords that the Catholics follow those Lords more than jesus.
I can show you that Muhammad committed shirk - quite often in fact - via Islam’s own texts - al tirmidhi hadiths (5th of the accepted 6)
I have read all the rest of your post. It is useless becaus eyou have tried to attack our system via the books of Hadith. Nothing is given from the Quran to prove anything. So all is invalid.

You write for this site & you are not familiar with his writings …okay , I believe u 🙂
you are to believe in Allah AND the prophet!.
Of Course , why u think God sent Prophets to humankind after all ? So that believers rejected them ? Whenever a Prophet came to his nation , it was a must for them to accept him .

Jews denied many Prophets , it’s one of reasons they were cursed.

Muslims respect all the Prophets , not only Muhammed (pbuh).

Obedience to the Messenger is Obedience to God

Disobedience to a messenger is direct disobedience to God and His religion. This is one of the important secrets that God reveals in the Qur’an.

In a verse, God relates the state of those who obey the messenger and those who don’t:

These are God’s limits. As for those who obey God and His Messenger, We will admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing under them, remaining in them timelessly, forever. That is the Great Victory.

As for those who disobey God and His Messenger and overstep His limits, We will admit them into a Fire, remaining in it timelessly, forever. They will have a humiliating punishment. (Surat an-Nisa’: 13-14)

MUSLIN WOMAN, Please repeat after me I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived of the
Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
From thence he shall come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion

of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.

Muslim Woman

You know very little about your own prophet, let alone Christ.

First of all, in Q. 4:136, the verb ‘believe’ applies to both Allah and Muhammad as coequal objects of veneration. This isn’t surprising as your Allah had at one time ordered all of the Angelic Host to perform ‘obescience’ to Adam, so Muhammad laid the foundations for making hemself into Allah.

Secondly, upon your prophet’s death, Abu Bakr spoke to the Ummah and told those who had been worshipping Muhammad to no longer do so. Looking at this objectively, monotheism didn’t develop until after Muhammad’s death, and even then, gradually. Your own Tafsirs place Allah, Muhammad and the Quran on the very same level. Previous Prophets and Scriptures are only given lip service and insubstantial attention.

Disobedience to *Christ *is disobedience to God. Even the wind and the sea testify to Him [Mt 8:27], and unclean spirits could not evade or escape him [Mk 1:27]. I have searched every verse of your Book, and have found no such evidence to convince me your prophet was more than a fake, and his Allah a pagan Arabian carbon-copy of the original.

The point being asked was why did Muhammad inserted his name beside Allah? Please set aside Christianity for a moment. You can start a new thread about it.
**swariffin, That was necessary to make the Muslims understand that Muhammad was only a servant and mssenger of Allah. That he was not any god and no part or partner of God. That was necessary because before Muhammad a whole people (christians) had been misled into making a man God.

Jesus also told his followers to preach in the name of father, the son the holy ghost. That was okay to mention the name of Jesus along with God. But not to make him into God. The name of Jesus could have been mentioned with God as a servant and messenger of God. No harm. But the poor people made Jesus into a god and are still adamant that Jesus is God. God is not Jesus. What a mystery?**

Provide the source for that opinion, please. Your opinion or belief is not sufficient accept such a claim.

Thanks planten.

Actually, Jesus said the babtize in the name of the 'Father Son and Holy Ghost. He and his Apostles performed and witnessed many miracles. Before you Muslims can come along 600 years later and stake these claims, you need to do a little more work.

Muslim Woman:

The followers of Jesus are not spreading hate at all, but we are contending for our faith [Jd 3] and standing together against Islamic venom.

Also, like it or not, your citation of Q. 4:136 only makes the point that Muhammad commited the sin of shirk. After all, you are to believe in Allah AND the prophet!

The very name ‘Muhammad’ reveals that shirk lies at the core of Islam. After all, ‘Muhammad’ means ‘praised one’ or ‘praise worthy’, yet the Quran says that ‘all praise is due to Allah’ [Q. 7:43; 16:75, et al]. It looks like you worship your prophet after all.
**Lothair, you should note that Muslims are told to believe in Allah and the messenger Muhammad. That is no sin. By believeing in Muhammad, we do not commit shirk by equating Muhammad with God. You know that. But what you are forgetting is that Muslims believe in all the angels of Allah, and all the prophets / messengers of Allah, including Jesus.

So we Muslims believe in Jesus too. Does that mean we are doing shirk? You people have no real guidance with you. You only are trying to find faults with Islam while there are none. And each time you are accusing Islam or the prophet for something. That should be enough to prove that you have false ideas. We need not say a single word in our reply.

However I see that Muslim Woman is trying to explain everything to you very gently, peacefully and correctly. Only you people are disbelievers and heedless of any signs.**

Great, now we just have to get the other 1.2 billion muslims to behave as Muslim Woman and we’ll have world peace 😃

God the Father = God’s word (called as God’s son) = Spirit of God (called Holy Spirit). Mentioning God’s son and the Holy Spirit together with God the Father, is a proclamation that there is only One God. There can’t be an independent God’s son and Spirit of God.

What you do is taking Muhammad with Allah is associating human with God.

By your logic, I can also say the Shahada as follow :

“I bear witness that there is no illah but Allah”
“I bear witness that Isa/Abraham/Jonah/Ayub (Job) is Rasullulah”

and still be a muslim, Can’t I?

Maybe you still could be, Swariffin, but a better question is why would you want to be? 😉

Anyway, this whole thread is silly. Muhammad SHOULD be the one to commit “shirk” many times, because he is the one who defined it in such a way that he made himself guilty of it over and over, every time the Qur’an has written something like “Allah and His messenger say…”, “Do not do _____ to Allah and His messenger or you’ll be punished”, “Love Allah and His messenger so much”, etc. Things like these are in the Qur’an, right?

We, on the other hand, do not say “Jesus AND God” because we believe that Jesus IS God. So who is really “associating”? Us or you?

Why did Muhammad have to talk about “association” when surely there is also sin in making God’s “revelation” fit whatever he felt like doing…he “associated” Allah with his own libido when he made God admonish him for hiding his lust for married women, slave girls, and others…that is worse than anything Christians do! He “associated” Allah with bigotry and greed and hatred and cruelty when He said that whoever changes his religion should be killed, and that Christians and any other non-Muslims will be “among the losers” in the final judgment (isn’t it also a GRAVE SIN to rob God of the judgment that is His right, and His right alone?), and commanded his followers to slaughter non-Muslims. And when the jizya was instituted within the legal framework of the Muslim empire…? This supposedly divinely-sanctioned order of things is not also problematic for the Muslims who want to enforce such a strict divide between we, the lowly humans (except for Muhammad…he’s eternal and great and all that), and God that the incarnation is impossible even with everything that God is capable of? Suddenly God can give Muslims the right to mutilate and humiliate His creation, as though we were not living as human beings before ~600 AD? Sorry, I do not believe any of this is from God.
