**Coming back to the topic, Muhammad was the One Great Champion who eradicated Shirk from the land. He fought the pagans, idol worshippers and he even criticised the christians for their pagan beliefs of three gods. i.e Three in One and one in three. That means Three gods in One God and One God in three. He criticised the theory of any son of God or any begotten son of God.

There was no sign of Shirk in Arabia by the time muhammad passed way peacefully.**

Muhammad was the One Great Champion who eradicated Shirk from the land
.

If mohamad was a TRUE prophet of God, he would **NOT **‘eradicate’ anything.
He fought the pagans, idol worshippers and he even criticised the christians for their pagan beliefs of three gods. i.e Three in One and one in three.
Mohamad had no right to ‘FIGHT’ anyone. If he was TRULY a spiritual man of God, he would have done it in a peaceful way. This statement of yours contradicts the koran verse… To you be your Way and to me mine - mohamad obviously did not heed to this scripture.
That means Three gods in One God and One God in three. He criticized the theory of any son of God or any begotten son of God
Mohamad criticized everything Biblical because he could not comprehend the teachings of Judaism and Christianity.
There was no sign of Shirk in Arabia by the time muhammad passed way peacefully
That’s quite a strong statement to make, - can you back it up with facts?

And also, I don’t know about “passing away” peacefully when we was poisoned and although I was not there, I am sure he was NOT a happy camper to die in this manner.

I think you are wrong and that is probably due to muslims, such as yourself, never even bothering to look critically at your own religion. And that was probably due to fear of being killed by other muslims willing to just blindly carry out the order to kill because someone is actually thinking.

What about the hadiths that point out that mohammed committed shirk?

What about the worship of muslims of mohammed, the koran, the black rock and lastly… allah?
I.
#936, allah’s messenger said: ‘He who invokes blessings upon Muhammed saying: “O Allah, cause him to occupy the nearest seat to thee on the Day of Resurrection, my intercession will be assured for him.”’
(Here Muhammed is making himself patron and lord, partnering with Allah (who actually needs a bit of help). Since only ‘Divine God’ - Christ - has been given 'all judgment, and no intercession will be allowed, is this madman of Mecca committing the unforgiveable sin of shirk" )
II.
tirmidhi #929, *’…I said: “May I devote the whole of my supplication to you? (my prayer)?” Thereupon he (Muhammed) said: ‘In that case it will take care of you and your sins would be expiated.’ *(So, supplicating to Muhammed takes care of sin? This is heretical shirk!)
You can say all you want planten, and deny all you want - your own texts disprove your assertion. mohammed did indeed commit shirk, as he committed many other sins.

It is too bad that mohammed couldn’t behave himself, but he couldn’t. He was probably so adored at the time that as time passed he grew even more cocky.

Islamic Laws
The Qur’anic Teachings

What is Shirk?
-Taking human beings from among ourselves as Lords or patrons besides allah.
-Taking angels or prophets as Lords or patrons besides allah.
-Taking Ahbaar and Rahbaan (religious authorities) as Lords and patrons besides allah.
-Worshipping, obeying and adoring of anything besides allah.
-Taking Masters (wali) other than allah. to ascribe allah’s partners in his command or rule.
-To ascribe allah’s partners in his kingship or dominion.
-To ascribe allah’s partners in his lordship.
-To be divided into sects.
-Failing to establish the Just Economic System of Zakat

I can show you that Muhammad committed shirk - quite often in fact - via Islam’s own texts - al tirmidhi hadiths (5th of the accepted 6)

I.

(So, supplicating to Muhammed takes care of sin? This is heretical shirk!)

III.
#933, Allahs’ messenger said: ‘The niggardly is the one before whom I am mentioned and he does not invoke blessings upon me.’
( Another comdemnation for anyone who forgets that mohammed is the focus of islam’s teachings. He’s nesteled right in allah’s lap as its partner.)

IV.
#938 The supplication is stopped between heaven and earth and none of it ascends till you invoke blessing on your prophet. (Prayers cannot reach the big boss, Allah, unless muslims include an invocation for mohammed!?)

V.
#927 Allah’s messenger said: ‘Let there be smeared with dust the nose of the person in whose presence I am mentioned, and he does not invoke blessing on me.’
(No getting around it, if mohammed doesn’t remain the center of the muslim unverse, there will be hell to pay!)

VI.
#923 Allah’s messenger said: ‘The one nearest to me on the Day of Resurrection will be one who invokes the greatest number of blessings on me.’
(See how he inserts himself as having importance on the Day of Resurrection? He a rotted corpse, but this ties knots in the head of all muslims!)

VII.
#922 Allah’s messenger said: ‘He who invokes one blessing on me, Allah will shower ten blessings upon him and obliterate ten sins and elevate him by ten ranks.’
(muslims, knowing how contentious and capricious Allah is, are constantly struggling to make it to home plate in this pointless game of islam.)

VIII.
#820 Verily my prayer, sacrifices, life and my death are for Allah, the lord of the worlds (SATAN - see next quote 2 Cor 4:3,4). There is no associate of his: and this is what I have been directed to and I am the first amongst the muslims.
(2 Corinthians 4:3,4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are perishing, in whom the god of this world (SATAN) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.)

IX.
#811 …don’t you fear Allah? don’t you see how you observe the prayer? You are under the impression that what you do is hidden from me. by Allah, I see me as I see in front of me.
(Now he’s claiming the power of being all seeing? He couldn’t perform a single miracle, but Allah gives him a rearview mirror? How can one reasonably follow such a guy?)

X. (I am including this one - it isn’t shirk, but it is showing us that once again, mohammed couldn’t follow his own ‘religion’.
#66 …The prophet said: A wise person is one who keeps a watch over his bodily desires and passons …a foolish person is one who subordinates himself to his cravings and desires.
(Since mohammed never put this wisdom into practice, he, himself, is telling his followers that he is foolisth! So, why are allah’s slaves following this guy?)

Muslims pretend that islam is ‘true’, in the face of overwhelming evidence that it is the cult of ‘mohammed worship’.

Many of your former siblings have found the courage to admit that mohammed is a heretic. Nothing he told you about allah, or jannah, has a single shred of truth in it. Your eternal souls hang in the balance of what you decide to do about the lies of islam. Choose wisely!
I feel that instead of looping and looping around this thread, it makes sense for our muslim members to address the original post started by the member “Agabriel”

He/She has pointed out the definition of **shirk **and also has backed it up with islamic texts.

This would be a great place to start this discussion for a better understanding instead of opinions and hijacking the thread to different levels.

Let’s begin from the start… shall we? Thanks!

I want to address how mohammed passed away.

He was poisoned by one of the women he enslaved and raped.

That is what we call ‘poetic justice’.

Here is a stark contrast between Jesus and mohammed. When Jesus died - he asked His Father to forgive (Luke 23:34) while mohammed cursed at his death.
MUHAMMAD: “May Allah curse the Jews and Christians for they built the places of worship at the graves of the prophets.” Bukhari, Vol. 1, #427 [Muhammad had been poisoned years earlier by a Jewish woman whose husband was killed by the Muslims and the poison had slowly worked its effect. He said this while dying in the arms of his wife Aisha].
The words of two who are dying shows the caliber of these two men. Just because many didn’t swallow his ‘religion’ he wanted his god to curse them.
JESUS: In Luke 9:54, 55 Jesus rebuked His disciples when they wanted to destroy a town that rejected Him. Also, in Luke 22:52, Jesus’ disciples started to fight against those that came to arrest Jesus, He stopped them, and healed a man injured in the fight.
Here we see Jesus wasn’t such a paranoid like mohammed who had to destroy people’s lives if they didn’t believe in Him. He knew that they didn’t have to fight to spread the Word.
MUHAMMAD: told his followers to aggressively make war on non-Muslims: 9:5, 29. Sura 9 was one of the last Suras given by Muhammad. Initially, when Muhammad’s group was weak, he ordered his followers to try to get along with other people. After the Muslims became powerful, he ordered them to spread Islam by force. Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman continued his wars of aggression.
This is very telling since we see this behavior in so many lands - first enter peacefully and trick many, then… well, read history.

We have been on the topic the entire time, and the evidence is piling up against your ‘prophet’. The very name you give him means ‘prasied one’ which as I have pointed out, is shirk. Abdul Quasim [Muhammad] did no more than turn a pagan god known in Arabia into the God of Isreal. Call him the ‘great champion’ all you want, but the ravenous pedophile you call the Praised One was a charltan and his own people knew it. You say that we ‘turned a man into God’? Well, you did the same thing to a ROCK.

Also, he didn’t die peacefully, he died spitting hatred towards Christians and Jews. He died and his ummah fell away from his ‘deen’ in an instant. You know why? Their belief in the ‘rasool Allah’ had nothing to do with faith, it was a about booty and slaves. Once he was rotting in his grave, they began to look for a new war chief and it took jihad to bring them back into Islam.

Coming back to the topic, Muhammad was the One Great Champion who eradicated Shirk from the land.

this has nothing to do with putting his name alongside God, and this has nothing to do with claiming that "Allah and Muhammad decree/say/choose, this has nothing to do with asking humans to love him more than the whole world and this has nothing to do with scolding a man for not stopping his prayer to respond to Muhammad.
he even criticised the christians for their pagan beliefs of three gods. i.e Three in One and one in three. That means Three gods in One God and One God in three.

this is true. As soon as he died, many left him for another prophet and another book which resulted in wars to kill those who left Islam. Not to mention that as soon as he died, hatred consumed his own household over money and authority which resulted in a war and hatred and grudge that went with them to their graves.

He fought the pagans, idol worshippers [sic] and he even criticised [sic] the christians [sic] for their pagan beliefs of three gods. i.e Three in One and one in three. That means Three gods in One God and One God in three. He criticised the theory of any son of God or any begotten son of God.
God manifested Himself these ways to confound Mohammed.

Wow. Comparing the Holy Trinity to the trinities of Buddhism and Hinduism? That just goes to show Islam has no idea what it’s talking about. But it can be easily explained:

Christians believe in God, and three Persons in God.
Buddhists believe in Buddha, and three Bodies of Buddha
Hindus believe in three gods: Brahma, Visnu, and Shiva.

The belief that the three Persons in God are three personalities, modes, or bodies of God is actually a heresy. So the Holy Trinity is not like the Buddhist trinity.

The belief that the three Persons in God are three different gods is also a heresy. So the Holy Trinity is neither like the Hindu trinity.
Furthermore; doesn’t hinduism have literally MILLIONS of “gods”, and not just three? And as far as I know, “Brahma” is not a “god”, but roughly comparable to the buddhist idea of “nirvana”…could be wrong though. False eastern religions are really not my specialty

Did he wear a mask and ride a white horse too? Perhaps he had a Christian convert to Islam as a sidekick as well.

Two things to say about this:
  1. Mhammad died in 632 AD. If he got rid of all the Christians and other participants in “shirk” in Arabia, how do you explain the presence of Christians in Najran as late as the 9th century? Why did al-Hadi Ila l-Haqq Yahya ibn al-Hussain (897-911) make a treaty with the Christians of Najran? Why does the last evidence of Christians in the area date to the 13th century? Was Muhammad miraculously alive once again at that time?
  2. If we are polytheists and bad and all the other things that you claim, why does the Wikipedia page on the history of Najran say the following:
*The martyrs of Najran are remembered in the Christian calendars and are even mentioned in the Surat al-Buruj of the Q’uran 85:4-8, where the persecutions are condemned and the steadfast believers are praised:

“…slain were the men of the pit, the fire abounding in fuel, when they were seated over it, and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. They took revenge on them because they believed in God the All-mighty, the All-laudable…”*

Is this in the Qur’an or not? Why would the Qur’an praise people who are ‘polytheists’ (Christians) if Muhammad’s work was to cleanse Arabia of polytheists? Either we are polytheists or not, according to you. You cannot have it both ways!

Yep, it’s in the qur’an and here’s the tafsir to explain that passage.

**Lothair, as far as we know, Jesus abused the people around him with bad words like vipers and sons of vipers and snakes and evil generation. So you are also following in the footsteps of you man made god.

That is why you people have a bad picture of Jesus in your book bibleNT with 30 years of Jesus life missing from the descriptive. (There must have been a lot to hide).

Only three years are there which are not happy ones The Quran does not say a single bad word of abuse against Jesus and his mother. So Muhammad is the greatest prophet of all prophets. Please remember it. thanks.**

planten whenever there is proof that your mohammed was not a nice guy - you always bring up Jesus. But, you cannot prove any of your remarks about Him.

It is so obvious your squirming that mohammed committed shirk, but you are so unable to deal with it.

Once again you are running away from what your own texts say.

Jesus said pray for those who hurt you, forgive those who hate you.

Did Muhammed?

Jesus said that if anyone refuses to hear the truth, shake the dust off your feet and go on.

Did Muhammed?

Macca Victory is one of the best examples how to forgive enemies . It’s easy to utter words , it’s hard to forgive killers of your own daughter , uncle when u have 10 thousands armed soldiers with you.

Prophet with his family members & followers faced long 3 years of boycott .

They almost starved to death during this time. Still , he did not commit shirk , did not teach anyone to worship other dieties . He always had faith in one true God & taught people to address him as a slave & messenger of God , Not as equal or co-deity of God.

Related verse from Quran:

The Jews and the Christians will never be pleased with you, until you follow their faith.

O Muhammad, tell them : “Allah’s guidance is the only guidance;” and if after all the knowledge you have received, you yield to their desires, there shall be none to protect you or help you from the wrath of Allah.

Those to whom We have given the book and who read it as it ought to be read, they are the ones who believe in it; as for those who reject it, they are for sure the losers

“The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished!” (Quran, 17:81)

That doesn’t ring of the truth. He didn’t have to work at all for his sustenance. In fact, due to mohammed being so self-absorbed he did not work to support his family, he depended on Khadijah. Khadijah’s money ran out and then shortly thereafter mohammed’s uncle died - all mohammed’s support left him in a lurch for money! The old boy wasn’t used to working by the time he was in his forties!

And you can point out all the hadiths and surahs that you want, it doesn’t delete the hadiths that show he committed shirk. All you are doing is making excuses for mohammed.
but, we should be used to that by now.

mohammed’s battles were offensive battles. They did not have to be fought. And your own hadiths show that mohammed was not innocent of being a problem in Mecca.

(geez, I have posted these so many times that it gets irritating to keep doing it but it seems that the muslims ignore their own texts when it is inconvenient for them)
**Ishaq:119 “'Abu Tabib, your nephew Muhammad has cursed our gods [at this point he had cursed all of them, including Allah], insulted our religion [more correctly, insulted them by trying to steal their religion], mocked our way of life and accused our forefathers of error. Either you stop him or let us get to him. For you, like us, are in opposition to him. He gave them a conciliatory reply. They returned a second time and said, ‘We have asked you to put a stop to your nephew’s activities but you have not done so. By Allah, we cannot endure having our fathers reviled and our customs mocked.’ Muhammad thought that his uncle had the idea of abandoning and betraying him, and that he was going to lose his support. The Apostle broke into tears.”
Tabari VI:93 “The Quraysh went to Abu Talib and said, ‘Your nephew [Muhammad] has reviled our gods, denounced our religion, derided our traditional values, and told us that our forefathers were misguided [and burning in hell]. Either curb his attacks on us or give us a free hand to deal with him, for you are as opposed to him as we are.’ They said, ‘We asked you to forbid your nephew from attacking us, but you did nothing. By Allah, we can no longer endure this vilification of our forefathers, this derision of our traditional values, and this abuse of our gods.’ This breach and enmity with his tribe weighed heavily on Talib. ‘Abu Talib, you are our elder and our chief, so give us justice against your nephew and order him to desist from reviling our gods, and we will leave him to his god.’”
Tabari VI:95 “Abu Talib sent for Muhammad. ‘Nephew, here are the shaykhs and nobles of your tribe. They have asked for justice against you. You should desist from reviling their gods and they will leave you to your god.’”
Tabari VI:96 “Abu Talib said to Muhammad, ‘Nephew, how is it that your tribe is complaining of you and claiming that you are reviling their gods and saying this, that, and the other?’ The Messenger said, 'I want them to utter one saying. If they say it, the Arabs will submit to them and the non-Arabs will pay the jizyah [submission tax] to them.”**
There is actually no historical evidence that the Meccans tried to harm mohammed. The hadiths I just posted have shown you that the elders of the Quraysh were being vexed by mohammed, not the reverse. They pleaded to have mohammed stop his taunts.

This is how the twisting of the words, and also the way muslims behave, started - with mohammed himself. Sorry, but you have not proven anything since your own texts show that mohammed was the cause of his own problems and the problems of others.

“The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished!” (Quran, 17:81)
Interesting. I do not see an answer to my question. Did Muhammed teach forgiveness or not?

Jesus said pray for those who hurt you, forgive those who hate you.

Did Muhammed?
ralph, Yes, he did say that and practiced it too. Muhammad taught the same thing as jesus did with very slight modification. Jesus was also right what he said and so was Muhammad. Perhaps you are not aware of the real Islamic tecahings about these things. You have only heard some few things. they may not be correct.
Jesus said that if anyone refuses to hear the truth, shake the dust off your feet and go on.
Did Muhammed?
**Again Yes. Muhammad taught the same thing. It is written in the Quran to call the people to God in a very gentle and lovely way with wisdom and nice advisory way. So Jesus was very right and so was Muhammad. Both taught the same thing. Only you have to learn the real teachings of Islam.

Your teachings are very brief and few. The teachings in Islam are more expressive and in more detail. Well, I have replied to your post and explained it for you. There is no difference in the teachings of Jesus and Muhammad.

We know the difficult position of Jesus being under foreign rule. He did well, very well and passed the message in a very good, best way that could be possible under those circumstances. Muhammad did even better according to the real needs of human kind, more realistic and no harm.

My this reply is only in relation to the two points that you have raised in your post.
