.

Paarsurrey says:
  1. All Christians, whatever the denomination, in my opinion, believe that Jesus died a cursed death on Cross.
  2. All Christians, whatever the denomination, in my opinion, believe that Jesus was raised from the dead.
  3. All Christians, whatever the denomination, in my opinion, believe that Jesus ascended to heavens and seated himself on the right hand of God; and assumed all powers from him.
  4. All Muslims, whatever the denomination, in my opinion, believe from Quran that Jesus did not die a cursed death on Cross.
  5. TraditionalMuslims believe from Hadith, in my opinion, that Jesus ascended to heavens from the Cross and his abode is on the first or second level of heavens, along with John the Baptist his cousin, and not beyond that.
  6. Muslims perceive that in his Second Coming he won’t be an Independent Messenger but would be in the Ummah of Muhammad.
  7. He will be a Caliph or Successor of Muhammad and hence follow Quran and the Acts or Sunnah of Muhammad. He will be a Muslim and not a Christian in faith.
  8. This is the Seal of Muhammad; through him and with him God has sealed the fate of all other nations of the world. Nobody can receive any Revelation or Word from God; unless he becomes a follower of Quran and Acts/Sunnah of Muhammad.
Muhammad supports and does not restrict Second Coming.

This is what **Second Coming **1835-1908 exactly is:

• He is from the Ummah of Muhammad.
• He is in the capacity of a follower Caliph Successor of Muhammad.
• He follows Quran and Acts/Sunnah of Muhammad.
• The Seal on Christians, Jews and others is intact; as Quran is intact- not changed and Sunnah of Muhammad is not changed.
• Second Coming has take place in Ummah of Muhammad; and Christians, if they don’t believe in it, would be waiting as the Jews who denied Jesus are still waiting. This is the Seal; their destiny has been sealed by God.

I think my CatholicsProtestantsJWs friends as well as Muslims understand it.

There is however no compulsion in religion; one may believe whatever one likes out of free will.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks

I must correct you on what Christians believe.
  1. All Christians believe Jesus died on the Cross. (Matthew 27:50)
  2. All Christians believe Jesus rose from the dead. (Mark 16:6)
  3. All Christians believe Jesus ascented into Heaven (Luke 24:51). All Christians believe Jesus is God. (John 6:51, 8:12, 8:23-24, 10:9, 10:11, 10:36, 11:25, 14:6, 15:1)
Oh, and please don’t use the King James Version Bible. Catholics don’t accept it; it is a heretical bible, many verses were changed from the original Bible when it was made. Instead, use the New American Bible: vatican.va/archive/ENG0839/_INDEX.HTM

Paarsurrey,
Eucharisted is right, use the link he gave you for the authentic Catholic bible. THE KJV is for protestant use, we dont accept passages out of that because they have been changed.

(Revelation 22:13):
*“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” *

Hi friend dolphinlove!

Thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut in the thread.

Where in my posts these days I used KJV? I don’t remember.

I know that Protestants, Catholics , JWs and +32000 denominations which sometimes are clubbed into the word “Christians” are in fact Pauline; all are in real terms different religions having different Scriptures which they conveniently call NTBible.Untill they recognize **Second Coming **1835-1908 and unite into one; only if they understand.

I take care, therefore, to use: drbo.org/: for a Catholic Bible and KJV for the Protestants.

God bless you!

Regards

Eucharised, You are right about the beleifs of the chrsitians. Muslims believe that you believe in those things. I am interested in the post of paarsurrey. That is also a close description of the beliefs of christians and many Muslims.

I believe that the word “Khatam an Nabiyeen” is used in the Quran in praise of the prophet. Translating it as the “Last” is no praise. This thing was well discussed by an Indian Aalim (scholar) Muhammad Qasim Nanotawi in his book “Tehzeen an Naas”. He said that to translate the word Khatam as the last was not the job of good Ulema.

Imam of Hadith (Tirmazi) also said that to translate the word Khatam as the “Last” was the job of foolish people.

But the prophet said himself “There will be no prophet after me.” So it needs to be explained, What is the meaning of Khaatam. Is it the Seal of the prophets?. The Ulema of Deoband have translated that word as the Seal of the propehts.

Paarsurrey,
There is one thing you should know. Its not the Catholic Churches fault there is so many denoms. The church would be the one true church, as Jesus instructed, if it wasnt for Martin Luther. He broke off from the church and created the domino effect.
Even Islam has many different demons this day. The only one that has remained true is the Catholic church. 😉

Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John.

This one passage alone from the bible specifically tells us John the Baptist IS the last prophet. So there is no other prophet after him. This alone proves muhammad a false prophet.

Not really. You still have to clarify what “prophesied until John” means. Does it mean that the prophets and the law predicted John’s appearance?

Another possibility: Does it mean that (1) John was the last prophet at the time Matthew was written; or (2) John will be the last prophet of all time?

What miracles did John the Baptist (pbuh) perform?

Christians cannot have it both ways here and since he did not perform any miracles, then how can Christians say that John the Baptist was a prophet?

Prophets need not perform miracles.

A prophet speaks for God-No miracles required.

Prophets need not perform miracles.
I cannot agree more… but that is not the message that I see from most Christians here who constantly cite the supposed absence of miracles in rejecting the Prophethood of Muhammad (pbuh).

Hi

I appreciate my friend dolphinlove of taking pride in the Catholicism being the only true denomination among those who club themselves as “Christian” although from Muslims stand point, they are all Paulists.

This is her birth right out of her free will and nobody can deny her this privilege. But the same privilege is the right of Protestants and JWs; they also say that they are the only true Christians.

To remove this confusion among the Christians; dolphinlove shall have to give some rational, reasonable and logical arguments; not mythical one.

Although I like Catholics very much for their charitable and humanist works but in theological arguments I think the JWs have an upper hand.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks

DiL, the law was not prophesied until John even though it was correct because John was the last prophet before Jesus.

Jesus himself preached the same law and followed it in word and deed. He did not abondon the law of Moses. He rather explained the Mosaic law with sense.

ISA AKBAR!

ISA AKBAR!

ISA AKBAR!

I bear witness there is NO GOD but Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and Jesus is God Incarnate risen from the dead.

According to Mallachi 4:4, it is correct. The coming of the Messiah is signaled by the “last prophet” which is the incoming of Elijah. Elijah/John the Baptist is the last prophet who prepared the way for the Messiah to come. After the Elijah/John the Baptist, then it is the era of the Messiah. The Messiah in the physical form of the human flesh, known as Jesus, is continued by the Holy Spirit. But, the Messiah is still continued unstopped from the era of Jesus, as the Messiah will reign forever and ever, and His Kingdom will have no end. That is one of the reason that the Christians believe that God the Father, God’s word (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit is one entity God. Not three, but one. 1 x 1 x 1 = 1, not 1 + 1 + 1, not 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3.

Please keep in mind that the “Messiah-ship” is not continued in the form of the papacy. Papacy does not replace the Messiah and is not Messiah. Papacy is just the pontiff or the vicar or the bridge.
