Muhammad was before Jesus

If Muhammed was before everything else, then Allah knew that all of his messengers would fail and everything he taught would be corrupted. Yet, he did nothing to prevent it.

In some ways, it makes the God of Islam look even more inept

Why are you interpreting our scripture to suit your own needs? Would you be happy if I took passages from your Quran and interpreted them for myself, taking my arguments in front of Muslims? You know that I can’t interpret the Quran properly without your faith, so why do you think you can interpret ours properly without our faith?

Narrated Muhammad ibn Ziyad:
Ibn Mahran asked Abdullah ibn Abbas about the meaning of the the verses

"And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, And we are most surely they who praise the glory (of Allah). Qur’an 37:165-166

Ibn Abbas says, we were in the company of the messenger of Allah (s) and Ali ibn Abi Talib approached, when the messenger saw him, a smile appeared on his face and he said
“greetings to the one whome God created before his father Adam by 40,000 years”

Ibn Abbas asks, "Oh messenger of Allah, is it possible the son to be before the father? "

The messenger answered
"Yes, Allah created me and Ali before creating Adam by this length of time (40,000 years).

He created divine light and split it into two. Created me from one half and Ali from the other half before creating anything else.

Thus** the light of all the creations** is from my and Ali’s light.

Then He placed us to the left of the throne.

Then He created the angels, so we praised His glory, the angels also praised his glory.

We praised His greatness, the angels also praised His greatness.

This (action of praising God) was from myself and Ali’s teaching. It was in God’s knowledge that the angels would learn from us how to praise and glorify Him, and everything else that praises God is from our teaching.

It is also in God’s knowledge that He would not punish with the fire those who love me and Ali, and he would not allow into heaven those who hate me and Ali."

indeed, look at what Muhammad said:

"The True believer is that who loves me more than his wealth, family and the whole world.”

Did any biblical prophet ever utter such words? no, there is only one “prophet” who dared utter these words, and that is Jesus, because He is God. A mere human applying this to himself is putting himself on God’s level because you only love God before your family and the whole world, not a human, even if he is a prophet.

Likewise, everything created by Jesus and for Jesus is that because He is God. Applying the same to muhammad is blasphemy and shirk.

I think it is a bad logic.

It is only Jesus-Catholic-god’s mistake, so he never uttered such words. If Jesus-god was physically in this world, then God has is no physical being, all physical and spiritual bodies/being are God’s creation; in that case Jesus-god ceases to be a God.

It only suits to a Messenger of God to say “The True believer is that who loves me more than his wealth, family and the whole world” as God Allah YHWH is exalted, is logically excluded from the sentence automatically.

This proves that Jesus and Muhammad were true Messengers on God only, in my opinion.

Is the idea that Mohammad was divinely “intended” before Jesus was ?​

the idea is that creation was intended because of Muhammad, that is. Allah created everything because of Muhammad, and that he was created from a better mould that Adam and the rest of humanity that Allah took from his mould and inserted it in Adam so that his face became shining because of Muhammad’s light.

Muhammad’ creation before Adam was this virtual/model creation; though physically Muhammad was born later. This is in a sense Muhammad- the Seal of Messengers, in my opinion.

Your hadith saying Muhammad was before anything else were created, really a direct copy of John’s Christology. Too bad the writer of that hadith did not get a copy of John’s gospel. Otherwise he would wrote “From the beginning there was the word, the word was together with God, and the word is God”, and the second verse would be “The word has become man and live among us, and the name is Ahmad”.

Thanks That sounds a rather exalted purpose for a mere man, if Mohammed is a man & not God. Applied to Christ, that sort of thought fits into Christology nicely. It sounds a bit like the idea attributed to Mormons that Joseph Smith is the Judge of mankind.​

add to it Muhammad’s name on the same level with God, add to it Muhammad’s words about loving him more than the whole world, and you find it is associating Muhammad with God, rather than a mere exaltation.
