the contradictions become quite clear when you look at this webpage 🙂 (google is so useful) carm.org/religious-movements/islam/contradictions-quran
Below from your website CARM.org
“Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood,” (96:2).
"We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape, (15:26).
“The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”. And he was,” (3:59).
“But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?” (19:67, Yusuf Ali). Also, 52:35).
"He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer! (16:4).
Just by this mess alone, which is not the first time I’ve read or said this, this koran is **NOT **the word of God.

There is so much confusion in this book and God is **NOT **nor was ever confused.

Geez, this is the last time I post a thread about Muhammed. Turned into all this arguing.

I post a thread about how Joseph Smith’s theology fails, I get four posts.

I post how Muhammed’s theology fails, we argue about terrorism for a full eight pages. -_-’
Mr. Z:

**Muhammed’s theology FAILS. ** ~ Yes indeed it does fail!

The end!

Jesus Christ is LORD, islam & mohamad is false!

BTW, when was the last time you saw a Mormon with a bomb vest on, Bible in one hand and an AK47 or machete on the other hand within the 20th & 21st century?

Two things strike me about this.

First, how do so many Muslims miss this?

Second, it leads me to think that Islam was created for a partially literate/poorly educated people who could or would not examine critically what was said.

Yes indeed, how do they miss this. It sounds like God is confussed as to how He created man.

If the Qur’an were the script for an infomercial, I would not buy its product. How incredibly unpersuasive.

“It’s a clot of blood! It’s clay! It’s mud! It’s a drop of sperm! It’s NOTHING! It’s five things in one!”

Yes, & like Ralph asked, how do the muslims miss this? Why aren’t they questioning it?

What if Billy Mays, may he rest in peace, was pitching it.
🙂

Hmmm…an intriguing idea…I’d probably have to buy it just to calm him down! Apparently this is the Islamists’ tactic as well, but their P.R. is quite a bit worse than Mr. Mays’ was. 🙂

Any religeon that teaches that the end justifies the means is a “failed” religion…

Mohammad encourages his followers to LIE under certain conditions !

Muslims can even lie under oath, and can even falsely deny their faith in allah. Catholics would NEVER do such things. In fact, many saints were martyred for refusing to do such deceitful things… Then again, look at the deceitfulness, and shamefulness of Muslim jihaadists who hide-out among women and children during battle, putting innocent people in danger, rather than fighting out front like men.

Here is the source of the “ends justify the means” trend, which consistently works its way out of Muhammed’s failed theology —

islamreview.com/articles/lying.shtml
"In the Quran, Allah, allegedly, says:
“Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful.” Surah 5:89

“Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness (vain) in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing.” Surah 2:225

“Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief, except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty.” Surah 16: 106

The noted Islamic commentator, Al-Tabary explained Surah 16:106 as a verse that had been revealed to Mohammed after he learned that Ammar Ibn Yasser was forced to deny his faith in Mohammed when kidnapped by the Banu Moghera tribe. Mohammed consoled Ammar by telling him, “If they turned, you turn.” (Meaning: if they again capture you, you are allowed to deny me again.)

also from the book “The Spirit of Islam” by Scholar and Prophet Afif A. Tabbarah - the “prophet” claims that “Lying is not always bad, to be sure; there are times when telling a lie is more profitable and better for the general welfare, and for the settlement of conciliation among people, than telling the truth. To this effect, the Prophet says: 'He is not a false person who (through lies) settles conciliation among people, supports good or says what is good.”
Och…och now I can see clearly why lots of politicians in my country (dominantly run by muslim) performing of giving oath under Koran and Allah, swearing that they didn’t get any bribe or any scandalous money for doing such job when evidences have shown the opposite. So they are in fact applying the verse of helping themselves out of danger! Don’t you agree that they of course were thinking about the general welfare of their family and follower…:D:p

Islam is a dangerous cult of violence and death. Mormonism is not. Islam is a political movement just like communism but with an allah attached-very devious.

Mormons do not use verses in their “holy book” to condone the killing of non-mormons-muslims do. Alot of supposed misunderstanders of Islam out there and most of them are muslim!!! You are allowed to lie to further Islam so who do we trust?

We will be up against a huge battle if Islam gets anymore of a foothold in the west. Look at what is going on - in every conflict in the world Islam is one of the parties. Their goal is to be supreme above all.

Seriously everyone… Do you think it is possible that Islam was created by a bunch of people who were jealous of the Jews with their God, so they just decided to make up their own… :jrbirdman: :whacky::whacky:

(many parts of the Koran dont even make sense, and it contradicts itself at times…)

Truly…I was thinking the same too!! The Koran has a very particular view about the Jews…!

Actually, there are those who have held that Muhammed was trying to create an Arab version of the Monotheistic faiths.

The parts in red are Christian intervention of the verse:

“The Jews and Christians say: We are the sons of Allah and His loved ones. Say: Why then doth He chastise you for your sins? Maybe because THAT’S WHAT A FATHER DOES! Ney, you are but mortals of His creating. Isn’t every child a mortal of his father’s creating?” -Koran 5:18
I’d say, while Christianity has obviously evolved into a far more moderate religious system, and the Christian bible lacks the high degree of internal inconsistencies seen in the Koran (although it has many inconsistencies), I’ve never seen an apologetic argument that doesn’t ultimately ask the believer to accept as fact – highly improbable and unsubstantiated claims. These arguments also usually build from cosmological arguments (i.e. the Kalam argument) that are highly speculative.

I’ve seen some arguments that try and make a case for plausibility; but those arguments are commonly based on unlikely assumptions and subjective statistical models (when I say subjective I’m referring to the variables they use as (name removed by moderator)uts, which are essentially invented from little more than thin air). Moreover, may of these arguments rely on either unproven or outright bad science (particularly physics).

Anyway, just my opinion!
