ok, my wedding is 2 months away, we got our rings.
my question is this: there is a Polish shrine that i want to take our rings to to have blessed by a priest in polish. my fiancee likes the idea too, now is it a problem that at our wedding the parish priest will bless the rings a second time? just wondering.
thanks for any thoughts.

To the best of my knowledge you can never have too many blessings. They are not like those Sacraments that can only be received once.

We recently had a 50th anniversary celebration in our parish. As I recall the priest blessed their rings again.

No, I do not see any issue with having them blessed twice?
It is good to hear that, I was worried about this when I received a rosary from a priest and then got it blessed by another priest. I was hoping it wouldn’t cause conflict.

I don’t see any problem either—a lot of times at pilgrimages etc. the priest will bless any religious articles that you bought or are carrying around that haven’t been blessed–he will bless them all at the same time from the altar so technically articles could be blessed several times

I could see a problem if someone brings the same item for a blessing every “First Friday” or smething like that. In this instance it’s not something that has become a superstition or they need it re-blessed because they washed it or repainted it, and somehow un-blessed it.
