This may sound silly, but has anyone had multiple intentions when saying the novena to Out Lady Undoer of Knots? I have said this novena many times but just for one intention and it has always been answered- maybe not what I wanted but rather what was best for me or the situation. Just seeing if others had experience/ if it would be as effective by including multiple intentions.

It is a powerful prayer.

Our Lady undoing knots is one of many ways that Our Lady crushes the Snake.

👍🙂

I would keep simple supplication, and respond back with generosity. Watch out for the delusion of labeling what exactly is being answered. Abandonment to accept everything is a great foundation for humility: accept all and speak little to others to obtain your wants. Accept God’s actions to purify your desires to find your goods in the petitions of the Our Father prayer. Accept nothingness of your many attempts for results- and look for an opportune occasion to listen to the poor, marginalized, and lowly. And bring simple comfort to them. That seems to me an aspect of what is meant by “the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want”

Hi macstar,

I don’t see why you can’t pray in any way that you want to. 🙂

That is what I do, including Novenas.

I pray for any intentions that I have, including multiple intentions for others that come to mind, too.

Regarding my own intentions, I have found that I need to be patient, as I am usually praying for something that is of an on-going nature, and that isn’t something that is going to be resolved suddenly, anyway. 🙂
