Murder Suicide - stunned - need prayers

A girl friend of mine at work, who has had plenty of her own personal issues to deal with the last couple of years… she had always found comfort and solace with her sister and her sister’s kids.

Wednesday, her brother-in-law, (her sister’s husband) shot her sister and two kids then killed himself. Her nephew passed away and her neice and sister are in critical condition in the hospital. I am just totally stunned.

Please pray for all concerned. Especially my dear friend who was already at wits end due to her own difficult circumstances. A most difficult time indeed. I fear she will really fall into a horrible tailspin. She needs help. This is the best place I can imagine to find it.

Lord have mercy.

I pray for the repose of the Little Boy’s Soul, that he is risen into Thy Holy Arms Dear Mary Mother of Jesus and Jesus now and for Eternity. I pray for this Family’s young girl and her Mother, that they are free of pain and leave in Thy Divine Holy Hands Dear God our Heavenly Father, The Holy Spirit, Dear Jesus Christ our Saviour and Dear Our Lady Mary Mother of Jesus, Amen. Dear Lord, I lift up to You, the family members and friends whose lives have been shattered by this tragedy.
May the deceased find comfort and peace in Your mercy. May those who have been injured find grace and healing, and may all who are mourning fin solace in Your love.
May the friend of MiguelitoJose be surrounded by reminders of your presence. May the people she turns to give her good counsel and support. May she be given the grace to forgive, the strength to love, and the courage to endure through these hard times. May she find healing, may she turn to You in prayer knowing that You will hear and answer. Amen.
 
I just got an email from her tonight. She’s at the hospital and the only one there from her family… she’s there alone with the in-laws… her family is delayed by bad weather in the upper midwest… she had to break the news to her sister about the status of her family… her neice woke up briefly, just enough to see her and tell her she loves her… kids are so resilient…

sometimes life gets very real… when you are least prepared… or least expect it…

i appreciate the prayers… please keep them coming… i’m getting prayed out… i hate when that happens… time to muscle up…

I am so very sorry for your pain and loss.Such a terrible tragedy for you to deal with.May God comfort you also through these difficult times.

Lord please hear our prayers for the family members who lost their lives in this shocking and frightening incident and grant them eternal life with You.Please comfort the sister who is in shock and suffering terribly with grief.For the friend also who is supporting her.Lord this is particularly painful and I ask You to ease the pain and comfort those who mourn.Please fill them with confodence of faith that their loved ones are safe in eternal life with You.Grant them strength and courage to get through these painful dark times.Through Jesus Christ Our Lord Amen

How heartbreaking! I will definitely be praying for her and for her child living, and the soul of her child who has passed. May God comfort your friend and give her strength to heal through this!
