Hymns at our mass and Marian procession today:

Immaculate Mary
Sing we of the Blessed Mother
As I kneel before you
Tell Out My Soul
Regina Caeli

This weekend:

Holy, Holy, Holy
How Great Thou Art
One Bread, One Body
O God, Almighty Father

I am sitting out this weekend. Next weekend is the easiest of the year (Corpus Christi).

Let’s revive this. Today we had our patronal festival of St Lawrence, based on the diocesan calendar - the feast was transferred from August. This was a Mass in the Anglican tradition.

Processional: O Worship the King
Gradual: Blest Are the Pure in Heart
Offertory: How Shall I Sing that Majesty
Communion: Breathe on Me, Breath of God
(2) I am the Bread, the Bread of Life.
Recessional: Blessed Feasts of Blessed Martyrs.

Let’s revive this.
This last weekend I did:
Holy God, We Praise They Name
The King of Love My Shepherd Is
We Remember
Seek Ye First
Eagle’s Wings

This next week, I may look into Lenten music to try and find something for the readings.

We did:

Let Us Go to the Altar
Seek Ye First
The Supper of the Lord
From All That Dwell Below the Skies

What do you all typically use for responsorial psalms? We use R&A frequently, but some of the compositions are just weird and awkward.

18th Sunday on Ordinary Time:

Gathering: Age to Age
Entrance chant: Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven
Offertory chant: I Want to Walk as a Child of the Light
Communion chant: The Supper of the Lord
Recessional: We Belong to You

Another Mass in the Anglican Use last Sunday

We did

Processional: Now Thank We All Our God
Gradual: God of Grace, and God of Glory
Offertory: How Can I Keep from Singing
Communion: (1) Break Thou the Bread of Life, Dear Lord, to Me
(2) O Salutaris
Recessional: How Great Thou Art

Weird weekend. I injured a couple of fingers and had to switch music from piano to guitar due to injury. I still used Amazing Grace, but had to change All That We Have.

This weekend, August 6/7:

Rain Down
Whatsoever You Do
Be Not Afraid
I Sing the Mighty Power of God

This coming Sunday, sung Mass in the Anglican tradition. A baptism is taking place.

Prelude: Something by Buxtehude
Processional: Crown Him with Many Crowns
Gradual: Jesu, the Very Thought of Thee
Offertory: Blest Be the Tie That Binds
Communion: Jesu, Thou Joy of Loving Hearts
(2) Bread of Heaven, on Thee we Feed
Recessional: Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory of the Coming of the Lord (Battle Hymn)
Postlude: Improvisation on Coeffen (the tune usually sung with “How Shall I Sing that Majesty”)

We are reaching liturgically rich times. Let’s not let this thread fail!

This Sunday was Harvest Sunday, and this was a Mass in the Anglican tradition.

Procession: We Plough the Fields and Scatter
Gradual: All Things Bright and Beautiful
Offertory: For the Fruit of All Creation
Communion: Close to Thee (Thou my Everlasting Portion)
(2) Tantum Ergo Sacramentum
Post-Communion: We Thank Thee Mary, for Thou art Queen
Recessional: Now Thank We All Our God
