I like The Who, Matt Maher, Boston, all sorts of stuff… Actually I went to a Who concert in Chicago on the 25 of Sept. it was great. A song on they’re new CD kinda bothers me though…it’s called “The Man in a Purple Dress” …It was performed on Letterman. The lyrics will show you what my deal is with it…tell me what you guys think…

The lyrics bother me personally being a Catholic.

I have gotton rid many of the secular music, Boston, Door,Zeplin, AD/DC, Rush, REO, many other, sure, it’s music I grew up on, but
does it help to grow closer in Holiness, to grow closer to God, for me, it reminded me of the party years.

I do enjoy more religious sounds these days.

Two things about Junior Brown.

One, read an interview with him in No Depression that revealed he and his wife are devout Christians and that he tries to schedule his shows so that they can attend their Baptist church as much as possible.

Two, we hung out with him one night. Very nice guy. He let me play his guit-steel. It weighs a ton.
