With bands like Metallica or AC/DC that have some songs that are sinful but some that are good clean songs…is it ok to listen to the good songs? or should one avoid all songs by that band?

I think you have to look at if you’re going to be intaking the songs, or just listening to them. These bands are like the kings of rock, so of course I have to say listen listen listen all you want Just keep your head on.

I’m not gonna tell you what to do, but something just doesn’t feel right about listening to artists who put satanic art on their covers. Whether it’s for shock value or not.

Definitely with album covers like that, I’d avoid those bands at all costs. When bands glorify Satan, or just ‘merely’ play with occult themes, the damage has been done. Unless those band members renounce it, which is probably not the case.
