** He did not say God was 3 or triune, **

We do not turn to human beings now,
(1) He did not say either statement, and they are both mere fallacious interpretations of men, trying to understand varying contradictory creeds being taught by early followers of Jesus. It is the words of men, and will always be. Don’t put faith in something God never taught.

(2) Jesus is 100% fully a human being. If you turn to Jesus, you are turning to a human being.

Here’s a question for you, since you say heaven is our “inheritance.” Does every person born deserve to go to heaven?
Inheritance does not means that we deserve it. To deserve anything requires us to have earned it.

An example :
A father Mr. Smith promises his land to his children. His children, therefore, inherit the land from him. But if one of them disowns his family- saying that he does not belong to the family and declares that he has nothing to do with the Smith family, he will no longer inherit it.

It isn’t the best example, but the situation is sort of the above. We as children of God have a place in heaven, but when we sin we declare that we want to be with God. Sin prevents us from entering Heaven because it is a declaration that we want nothing to do with God and Heaven is a place that has everything to do with God, where we shall reside with him for eternity.

Inheritance is what a person deserves. That’s what it means. Inheritance isn’t earned.

If you have to earn heaven, then it’s not inheritance.

I have to disagree. Inheritance is (in a perfect sense) due to the love of the person who gives it to us.

I do not know why you believe we inherit out of worthiness. Is there anyone else who connects those two together.

I guess difference is in the understanding what inheritance implies.

I didn’t mean that inheritance is earned. We inherit Heaven because of God’s love. We lose it when we declare (through sin) that we do not want it.

Inheritance is something given to us. We either accept or deny it.

It might be. Heaven is our inheretance as a Child of God. If we say that we do not want heaven, we get hell.

In Catholic thought, the people in hell are not sent to hell because God wanted them there, but because they chose it. Basically, God, as Father, is allowing us to decide what kind of relationship we want with him for eternity.
**ralph, you have argued with Sis Amy for nothing. We also believe that God does not intend to send any one to hell. He (Allah) has shown the right way and the wrong way to mankind care of the prophets only and given them the free will first to:
  1. Believe what they like.
  2. To act in the right way or wrong way.
That is the Islamic teaching. We do not go into predestination as it has no real answer by any means.**
God never ordains evil. If evil occures, God allows it to, but he never allows it to reach its fullest and good always comes from it
.

That need not be argued as it is a lame statement, not pointing to any serious belief.
The Crucifixion and ressurection are central to Christianity. According to Islam, Jesus was not killed or crucified. However, it was made to appear that way. That means that God lied to people KNOWING that some would end up Christian because of it. Since Islam teaches that being Trinitarian is shirk, God lied knowing it would send people to hell
.

**The Quran has told that the enemies of Jesus tried to kill Jesus on the Cross. But Allah also planned to save Jesus. Jesus was put up on the cross but did not die on the cross. So the mission of the Jews i.e. Crucifixion could not be achieved. Jesus was made to appear as if dead.

This is not a lie. Specially if your teaching is all false about Jesus and it is derogatory for the sake of Jesus (being killed by the enmies on the cross) then it is a mercy from Allah to have given the correct report to restore the respect of Jesus in the world. But you call that ignorance of the Muslims’s God (Allah) !! I am surprised at you. Why don’t you think that your theory of Crucifixion is all wrong built up story. That is to kill an innocent man for the sins of others. Who would believe you??

I have to mention the love here too. Our God (Allah) is very loving and Merciful to all the creation. Your God (father) is niether loving nor merciful. Why did he not have Mercy on his son (jesus) and why did he punish him and made him to suffer on the cross?. Is that a sign of love or cruelty towards own children??**
Because every Muslim site that I have been to ignores free will. They focus on God’s will, but never mans
.

** I have no time now. I can quote you direct verses from the Quran telling us that God (Allah) gave the knowledge of the right and wrong to all mankind so that they have no excuse in the hereafter. Allah gave free will (after knowledge) to follow the right or wrong path. Is that not free will?? I am sure you cannot show anything of that kind from your bible.
Where is your free will in the bible? Is it the freedom ( to commit sins) that is now being excercised in the western countries now?/
**
And the Muslims on here tend to be poor at discussing comparative theology. According to some, they are even heretical by Islam’s standards.
**All faiths have sects.Muslims are boldly facing you on all posts here. You have many sects in christianity. The two major sects being the Catholics and protestants. Then there are many more whom you consider heretics, i.e. The JW’s and the Mormons. Then there are 30,000 sects in the protestants. What do you say about that?

Do not look to sects in islam only. Your own condition is not very charming / lovely.**

**We also believe that God does not intend to send any one to hell. **
(Quran 19:71):
Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.
وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلاَّ وَارِدُهَا كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْماً مَّقْضِيّاً

1) al-Jalalayn commentary:
There is not one of you but shall come to it, that is, [but] shall enter Hell. That is an inevitability [already] decreed by your Lord, [something which] He made inevitable and [which] He decreed; He will not waive it.

2) Ibn ‘Abbas commentary:
(There is not one of you but shall approach it) there is not a single one of you, to the exclusion of prophets and messengers, save that he will enter it, i.e. hell. (That is a fixed ordinance of your Lord) it is a decree that must necessarily take place.

What do you think of perfect love, that which is not created out of human ego which believes that some are more worthy than others, that some are more perfect or valued than others?

Do you deserve this kind of love?
**I feel that your post is not based on facts. I do not pass judgement on you. But I am entitled to give my opinion. judgement is different to giving opinion. Opinion is like giving witness and I hope you will not forbid me from giving witness to what I have observed.

In Islam, we have love for all mankind, pure love not mixed up with any hope for return. There are three stages of good deeds:
  1. To do unto others as the other has done to us. that is called just ( Adl ) treatment.
  2. To do good to others even if others have not done any good to us. That is called “Ihsaan” meaning spontaneous good.
  3. When a Muslims has done the above and becomes more perfect he/she is advised to do good to every one not even considering that we have done any good to any one. That is called “Eitaa e dhil Qurbaa”. That is to do good and not consider that any good is done. It is like the love of mother for a child. The mother does not consider anything that she does for the child as some good deed. She does it through love.
That was all from the Quran. I would like to know if you have any of those things in the bible?? **
God holds us all accountable and we do not make it to ‘heaven’ where we can rest in eternal peace without facing our errors, our sins, our mistakes fully, without feeling what we have done to others, by virtue of having it given back to us as if it were our own self we had done it to.
Is that not perfect justice that is not dependent on flawed and fatally egoistic human judgements of our fellow human beings?
** I cannot understand any of your love or justice. You are free to do what you like because Jesus has taken away all your sins. We Muslims speak about repentence. John the Baptist and Jesus also talked about it. But we see that you do not need to repent. Is that true?**
If you judge any to not be ‘deserving’ of love, forgiveness, mercy and grace, using your imperfect human ego to do so, you have only ultimately condemned yourself to the same judgement.
Okay, we should not judge or condemn any one in that manner. Our prophet (as well as Jesus) also taught us the same thing. We are not the judge about the last day. We should look to our own faults rather than blaming others of bad deeds. I agree to you.
That was taught by Jesus, not by Muhammad, Perhaps this is why you missed it. You do not have the truth and light, you are being guided by shadow and dark.
** I have shown you above that it was the same teaching of Muhammad too. Perhaps the same teaching of all the prophets of God. But you seem not to know about others. No harm. Now I have told you.

All the good things of the bibleOT or NT are found in the Quran. Nothing is missing. You name anything good teaching of the bible. I will show you similar thing even better than what is in your bible. Welcome.**

Not intending is not the same as not doing. In Catholic thought, people freely choose hell over heaven. God just announces it in the end. Is that the same as Islam?.
That need not be argued as it is a lame statement, not pointing to any serious belief.
What? Does Allah perfrom evil or allow evil?
**The Quran has told that the enemies of Jesus tried to kill Jesus on the Cross. But Allah also planned to save Jesus. Jesus was put up on the cross but did not die on the cross. So the mission of the Jews i.e. Crucifixion could not be achieved. Jesus was made to appear as if dead.
**
To be put on the cross IS to be crucified. That is why the Church says that he was crucified, died and was burried. it is why Muhammed said that he was not killed or crucified.

It is not a built up story. Jesus chose to be killed that we might have eternal life. Is it better to follow a man who would die for others or who would kill them?

Why did he not have Mercy on his son (jesus) and why did he punish him and made him to suffer on the cross?. Is that a sign of love or cruelty towards own children??
He did have mercy. He allowed Jesus to choose to die that others might live. AND Jesus ROSE!! Jesus lives today!!
.

Free will is being able to choose right from wrong. If you sin, you are choosing to do so.

Most of the sects in Christianity do not going around killing the other sects. can you say the same?
