Where is the anger of the Muslim moderates?

I guess we will have to wait and see on this one.

What I like to know is why there is never any outrage by those that that still blame Christians for the Crusades but they have no outrage about the persecution and murders of Christians around the world today. Things like this happen daily around the world.

Those murderers will witness the wrath of God, and their will be plenty of weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Very sad, I thought the Koran taught respect for Christians as “People of the Book”.

I pray that the anger and fear that cause our brothers to take these actions can be replaced by love.

Sadly, the extremism which is causing Iraqi Muslims to persecute, torture and kill each other does not spare Iraqi Christians

A note of good news was reported on today:
Four Christians abducted yesterday are released in Baghdad
But the priest and one of the boys is still being held captive. 😦
I pray that the anger and fear that cause our brothers to take these actions can be replaced by love.
Amen. The Christians of Iraq really need our prayers.

For that matter why was this not even given any press by the major news sources?

We are so politically correct here in the western world that when our churches are destroyed we only cry quietly among others who are like minded. But draw a cartoon of Muhammad with a bomb in his turban and the whole of the Muslim world erupted into the streets, levied death threats against the cartoonist, threatened to bomb newspapers in Belgium and rioted in France.

We simply are waiting like lambs to be slaughtered.

Clearly we are too tolerant.

But I have a feeling that if Christians around the world stood up and walked in the streets in protest to incidents like this there would be a lot fewer threats against Christians. We don’t need violence or threats, we need unity and a massive public showing that we are not going to be killed, kidnapped, and subjected to forced conversions.

If anyone should show outrage it should come from within the Catholic community. Peaceful protests opposing violence that is directed toward our faith.

The press needs to cover these events, even if they are small parish driven events. Eventually the Muslim world will see that we can only be pushed so far, that we only have so many cheeks to turn. No warplanes. No bombs. Just a unified and VERY LOUD voice telling them NO MORE. We should learn the lesson they already know so well. We are afraid of being politicaly incorrect and we are afraid to stand up for our own faith.

How sickening! How dare those Muslim extremists do that! I pray that God’s will be done.

There will be no anger…in fact if you as an American express anger on this site expect to be chastised…my advise…chill out.
I strongly suggest that you quit taking potshots at the administrators of this site. If you have problems, the proper way to present them is by email to forumadmin@catholic.com, not by making comments in the forums.
