Muslim Followers of Jesus?

How do I know?
By reading “Holy” books of Christiandom, without preconcieved ideas.

This question arises if today true/reliable teachings of Jesus were indeed in existance. If you have them, produce them to intellectual/critical study/analysis/scrutiny.

Larryx, kindly stop trying to derail this thread. The question is not whether or not Jesus’ true teachings exist, it’s whether or not Christianity and Islam are compatible, as Christianity and Judaism are in Messianic Judaism.

If you want to discuss whether or not “true/reliable teachings of Jesus [are] indeed in existance”, create another thread to discuss it. You can also contribute something relevant to the topic at hand, instead of something that vaguely coincides with it. Otherwise, please stop posting in this thread!

If being a Christian means to faithfully follow the teachings of Jesus Christ (pbuh), then there is little doubt that Muslims are indeed the best “Christians” in the world.

Nope, look at the very first of your pillar of Islam, the Shahada. If the muslim is the best Christian by faithfully following Jesus’ teaching, why your Shahada mention Muhammad instead of Jesus?

They stick with there community because they don’t want to get kicked out of it, wouldn’t it be just better picking your religion when your born then being raised up in a religion that you didn’t want to be in. There normal followers of Christ like you guys, they just stick with there traditions etc. At Judgement day when Christ calls all the Christians and when the non-believers are going to hell, never forget your going to see your love ones on the other side. It’s a very difficult decision. God bless.

Since when do Muslims partake of the Body and Blood of Christ as Jesus’ taught us at the Last Supper?

The question whether Christianity and Islam are compatible can only be settled down if true teachings of Christ indeed exist, to see whose followers really follow them.

Are true teachings of Christ exist now? Obviously the answer is: NO.

In the absense of true teachings of Christ (even from Christiandom’s independent perspective), how would you so-called Christians say/discuss for sure whether a Muslim or any other person is or not a follower of Christ?

But when a muslim asks you who you think Jesus is to you? Will you answer to that respected muslim that Jesus is your saviour and your Lord ? or you will keep yourself silent? or you will play taqkiya for the sake of your comfort?
I believe there are verses in the bible said that whoever doesn’t proclaim that Jesus is his savior and Lord, he is not the real follower of Jesus ( I know it doens’t mean proclaiming your self of being christian if christian is only a term of certain sects or denomination of church).

I don’t think we should judge Muslims who have to lie to stay alive if they are what the Koran calls hypocrites. Their lives are in danger and I think that life is not to be taken for granted even though I do believe that Muslims take life for granted with their belief that killing and dying in the name of Allah who wants unbelievers dead and that it will get them on a fast path to their orgy in the sky. That is a sick way of thinking that I cannot even comprehend that they would fall for.

I will admit the courage are the ones who chose subjugation and remained to be Jews or Christians. most of the Saudis or other Muslims of the Middle East are not the ones who made the initial choice of becoming a Muslim - their ancestors made that choice. Some had no choice because they were enslaved by Muslims after their barbaric wars in the name of their god. The children of slaves are then Muslims because they are essentially raped by Muslims and eventually become pregnant.

You are judging others and this doesn’t even make sense. It sounds very Islamic to say the true teachings of Jesus do not exist. They are the ones who say the Bible was corrupted. Can you prove the Bible was corrupted?

You have to read the Koran and its other texts, especially their Sharia laws, to know that what Muslims believe and what Christ taught as was relayed via his apostles that they are totally opposite teachings. You can’t think it is ok to kill anyone who doesn’t believe in Allah and Mohammed and then turn around and forgive your enemies. Or to not stone a woman for sinning and then turn around and stone a woman for sinning. It just doesn’t make sense what you are arguing.

Did you read any of the Islamic texts, or Bible?
