Muslim going to church with us;

My DH good friend wants to go to the church service this Sunday.
(next Sunday). I dont mind 100% and nor does DH however I am a little worried about the situation. I mean it could cause him problems somewhere. What if some he works with goes there or a patient of his goes there and casually mentions it to someone boss / colleague/another friend?
WE would be devastated if he lost his job (which is run by his country people) found out and gave him some problems or worse yet “kill him” or try to.
What do I tell him? DH wants to discurage it…not sure what to do here!
 
I certainly would not want to discourage it. Do you really want to discourage a possible conversion ?

The salvation of souls is the whole idea isn’t it ?

I may discourage it from our local church.

His “soul” and what is in his heart is all his own; but I “would”

feel responsible if he got hurt or lost his job or worse.🤷

How can you be responsible for some grownup choices? Do not make it about yourself make it about God.

It is his personal choice, not all Muslims kill people for coming to church. I have brought a few Muslim friends to church before. They’re all still alive.
 
If you stood in front of God next Monday morning, would you want to tell Him that someone wanted to come to Mass but you would not bring them?
 
So a Muslim inquires with you about going to Mass and you are going to discourage it?

Gee I wonder what Jesus would do?

Unless you’re in a Muslim country I think you’re pretty safe. I agree with the above post.

If his boss fires him for going to a church, his boss has set himself up for a lawsuit.
