A prominent Muslim civil rights group is calling on Ariens Co. to stop enforcing its new prayer policy until a dispute between the company and its Muslim workers over the rule change can be resolved.
The dispute has left dozens of Muslim workers facing unemployment.
The Brillion-based manufacturing company has started telling employees to “use two scheduled breaks for religious observation, and are offering designated prayer rooms,” said Dan Ariens, the company’s chairman and CEO.
The company, which makes snowblowers and lawn mowers, changed its prayer break policy Thursday, WBAY-TV reported.
The station, which first reported on the dispute, said Ariens’ previous policy allowed its Somali Muslim employees to leave the production line twice a shift to pray two of the five prayers their faith requires of them daily. They prayed five minutes at a time, designating their specific duties to colleagues.

I wish to see the same reciprocity of tolerance by Muslim countries towards Christians, and I speak now directly to those who seek to overcome Europe through polygamy.

If they end up ruling, I wonder how many rights they will give the Christians…whatever remains of them…
