Muslim who needs answers???

Hi everyone,

 I am a born Muslim, and they are many essential points in Islam that I reject . I am reading  Robert Spencer, Dat Ye'or and Walid Shoebat and I always check the sources since I am Arabic.

But I am still confused because in the opposite side I am confronted to the miracles of the Qu’ran that are generally pretty convincing like the expansion of the univers. "We have created the sky and by our power we extend(expand) it’ (Coran, 51 : 47)

That indeed, confirmed in the beginning of the 20th c by the Russian physicist Alexander Friedman and  the Belgian cosmologist Georges Lemaître.

 So please if you are knowlegeable and you have clear answers about this specific subject reply precisely with references.

Ok for example if sb steals==>hi\her hand must be cut
if he\she kills==>his\her head
One timetheysay no body is obliged to be Muslim and after if sb leaves Islam he\she must be killed.

The fact that women have half the inheritance of men.
In case of an adultury need 4 witnesses and they shouldbe men which is nearly impossible and plus they have to see the act of sex, if you are no Muslim you burn in hell in the after life and nearly all Muslim theologists confirmed this, the hijab which is obligatory and is supposed to make women less attractive is not true since I am a man and I was very attractive physically many times to Muslim women wearing hijab and we were close friend for a long period .

In Islamic TV I heard from clerics saying many times that a Muslim is always 1,5 time more intelligent than non-muslim, I don’t know how did they calculate but it is very stupid.

In a court of law as witness/ 2 women = 1 man so logically a woman is twice inferior in trust .

Answer to these questions and I will bring you others and these are just brain storming

Be sure I have nothing against Islam or any other religion but I want to be convinced to have the peace of mind.

The conclusion of the muslim scientist about the relationship of the expansion of universe and Quran 51:47 came AFTER the astronomer indeed find the universe is expanding by spectrum analyzer and doppler law.

The theory of sky is extending is really not a sophisticated issue at all. For an day to day observation. Take a look of the sunrise and measure the apparent size of it. Later at noon, measure the apparent size of the sun. It is shrinking, correct? Don’t forget to use a welding goggles when you see the sun, for I don’t want you to damage your eye. Or take the observation of the moon instead.

For a longer time period. Take a look of the apparent size of Mars, perhaps. At a certain moment, Mars appears to be so large when in its certain orbit, Mars is at the closest point to the earth. But, as time goes by, Mars appears to be smaller as its position in its orbit get farther away from the earth. The observation of Mars from its big apparent size and get smaller is indeed give a sense that the sky is expanding. Also, the apparent size of Mars getting smaller and finally getting larger again, takes a long time with respect to the life of human being. So much that a human being in his/her life may not be able to observe Mars getting smaller to the smallest point, and getting larger to the largest point.

But, a true expanding universe, can be concluded by spectrum analysis and using doppler law. You won’t be possibly get to the conclusion by naked eye observation.

So it seems like you have questions about Islamic law–right? And you don’t really think it makes sense in all cases? Like these examples.

I’m going to hazard a guess. Since Walid says he is a born Muslim, it would seem safe to conclude that he believes in God the creator. He also says he is investigating other major religions, so again it would seem safe to conclude that Walid is merely trying to ascertain the validity of God’s Revelations as taught by these other religions.

That is very intelligent and wise.

Walid has already said that by the miracles of the Koran he is more convinced of its place as a true revelation from God.

So Walid, if I am not mistaken, is seeking further proofs or witnesses perhaps, of the truth of the Revelations taught by the other major religions.

I witnessed to some Muslim men a few years ago. I think God placed a together so God could speak to at least one of them.

I believe God has placed in your heart a desire to seek Him as well.

This wonderful for the Scriptures say no one come to the Father except through Jesus and no one comes to Jesus unless the Father draws him near.

God is calling you near to Himself!

A quick search of the Koran shows the word being translated as “expanding” is used at least one other place: surah 2:236

In Surah 2 the word is translated as either “wealthly” or “rich”

So the word is not limited to a single, exact meaning.
(We find this problem with The Christian Bible, also. Some words have very broad meanings. Whereas the English word use to translate it has a singular meaning. Then we must look at the content or context of the passage to find a correct meaning.)

In this case their is little to go on. If it means God made the Earth rich and bountiful, that we have always know and agrees with Scripture.

Surah 51 is not a verse I would use as evidence.

I will put it simple== I ask question in return I want a reply. Just like I did, Sister Amy asked a question(what I don’t like in Islam) even if it was irrelevant to my first question I replied neatly.

I should highlight the fact that I didn’t want to know if she is shiit sunnit or what precise school she is following.

To put in clear words, it doesn’t matter who I am but what I say, plus I know that what I said can easily be found the main Islamic sources.

Furthermore, I already said “I have nothing against any religion”, and I have the right to criticize and to know .And if you are a Muslim you should probably know that the first words in Ku’ran is “read” in the imperative form.

In other words, learn, study and enlarge you knowledge.

Yes, I know that the conclusion came after, before I had no plausible meaning they just read and don’t real grasp the full sense and that is the main point about this scientific miracle. It has now full meaning and even astonishing because now it makes sense at 100%.

As an Arab, you know that Arabic words have different meanings. What is translated as “we expand it” could mean “we made it vast”.
