Ah, okay. Thank you for your reply, it’s much appreciated.
Would you prefer a Heaven where one has all their lusts and desires fulfilled, or a Heaven where one spends an eternity worshiping God? The Bible only speaks of a place where we are made new and are living with God in eternal happiness praising Him.
Do you have any reason that none of the Prophets prior to Muhammad talked about sexual pleasures in Heaven but rather Jesus states: “At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.” Matthew 22:30
Does enjoying marital bliss prevent u from worshiping God. I have a greek orthodox friend who explained to me that in Christianity they believe that it will be living in bliss with God and there will be no marriage in heaven. In the Quran it says enter Heaven with ur spouse.
Why was Eve created for Adam, to give him companionship. God understands us better than we do, as God created us, so it only makes sense when we do go to Heaven we enter with our spouses. Adam and Eve return to Heaven together to live the rest of eternity together, so why shouln’t the rest of mankind enter heaven with their spouses.
With regards to worship:
{Surely those who believe and do righteous deeds their Lord will guide them aright because of their faith. Rivers shall flow beneath them in the Gardens of Bliss. Their cry in it will be “Glory be to You, Our Lord”, and their greeting: “Peace” and their cry will always end with “All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the entire Universe”} (Yunus, 10:9-10)
{All praise be to Allah to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and that is in the earth, and all praise be to Him in the World to Come (the Hereafter)} (Saba, 34:1)
{They shall enter the everlasting Gardens, shall be adorned with bracelets of gold and with pearls, and their apparel therein shall be silk. They will say: “All praise be to Allah who has taken away all sorrow from us. Surely our Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciative; (the Lord) Who out of His Bounty has made us dwell in an abode wherein no toil, nor fatigue affects us.”}
This is evidence even in Heaven, we will continue to worship God.
“Their utensils will be of gold, their perspiration will smell like musk; everyone of them will have two wives; the marrow of the bones of the wives’ legs will be seen through the flesh out of excessive beauty. They (i.e., the people of Jannah) will neither have difference, nor enmity (hatred) amongst themselves; their hearts will be as if one heart, and they will be glorifying Allah in the morning and in the afternoon.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. ****
"Allah, the Exalted, has said: ‘I have prepared for my righteous slaves what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and the mind of no man has conceived.’ If you wish, recite: ‘No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do.’ " [Al-Bukhari and Muslim, the ayah recited is Al-Qur’an 32:17]
**personally I think the description of heaven its just in terms for mankind to fulfil his basic needs to companionship, a home, a spouse, wealth- but then this ayah shows its something we cannot even conceive with our minds so the descriptions are just basic terms for mankind mind to understand.
**
Truly, the muttaqun (the pious and righteous persons) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Jannah). (It will be said to them): ‘Enter therein (Jannah), in peace and security.’ And We shall remove from their breasts any deep feeling of bitterness (that they may have). (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones. No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it."[Al-Qur’an 15:45-48]
**This is evidence no jealousy will exist, so even if there are Virgin maidens, we women will not be jealous as we are given higher status above them, more beautiful, more honorable. Our husband will look at our beauty and our beauty will continue to increase. It is this world, also the devil that causes us to have bitterness and jealousy but in Heaven, we won’t have any so u won’t care. **
There are lots more, but basically to sum up, yes u will be married in heaven, otherwise what was the point of creating Eve, because Adam needed companionship and so he will continue to get that in heaven. We will continue to worship God. If anyone has ever fallen in love, it’s the best thing in the world and I know meeting God will be an infinity times better than that, so can’t wait.
