Islam, is not one united religion.

They’re just as fractured and factioned. In fact, their factions are still blissfully killng each other to keep their faith “pure.”

The only reason that the fractricide is not more general is the state of Israel. The common enemy “united” the brotherhood, at least on the surface to the extent that one doesn’t see the nation vs. nation bloodletting (aside from Iraq vs. Kuwait, which everyone seems to have forgotten).

When one compares the personal conduct of Mohammad vs. the Lord, it makes it lughable to believe that Satan spoke through Christ and God through Mohammad. To even entertain the thought requires mental gymnastics unknown to any yogi.

Islam does not condone the killing of innocents. And people dancing in the streets in happiness due to terrorism can not be condoned.

But, surely you can understand that poverty and anger will breed hatred of the “Enemy”. Many Muslims look to Osama as a way out from their own oppression from their own leaders.

Plus, like most Christians, many Muslims do not know their religion anymore.

I hope it’s only poverty that drives them to hatred. But there is more than just poverty involved. It’s the so called “infidels” such as Christians and Jews among others. Have you read in the news how Chaldean rite Catholics in Iraq are persecuted? They are burning their churches there?

And I do think that they call themselves as zealous muslims.

I need to get something straight first. Never did I notice on that site anything saying all those people (13 of them that said yes) were “converts” rather than born Muslims.

Second, is a “hijab” (what those on the posted link mentioned) necessarily the same thing as a full-body “burqa”. I think the burqa is something certain women are just forced to wear, and a hijab is just a head scarf, but please tell me if that’s wrong.

The poor girls and their families.

Christ spent a lot of time speaking out against people who followed the letter of the law, while lacking compassion. Did Muhammed teach anything similar? Do they really think that God (or Allah) will be impressed by their behaviour?

These people could use a healthy dose of Christianity.
It’s too bad that they have so much oil (and that so many governments are so corrupt).

The Prophet Muhammad lived in Mecca which was several weeks away from Jerusalem by Caravan. There were possibly 1 or 2 Christians in all of the Arabian Penninsula.

The only Christian in Mecca died the same year as The Prophet recieved revelation.

If you still claim that The Prophet Muhammad stole from Christianity, then you would have to bring more proof then simple similarities. Names, places, documents, references, statements and witnesses. Even one will do.

I am wondering if men are still permitted to marry young girls, children really and can they still take more than one wife. If no, I am wondering why not, since Mohammed"s life and how he lived it is an example of what he believed. Did he not have 11 wives or more? Did he not receive the last and truest revelation from God ?
