I personally think that the only people who have the power to undermine Islam are Muslims themselves. Thier tolerance of violence and refusal to speak out against it only makes non-Muslims think of Islam in negative ways.

We want to exploit a society oppressed by its own theology and take their natural resources.

Undermining Islam would be self defeating.
