The op is stated no doubt unintentionally to prejudice and inflame: blame rests with the Jihadists alone, including their supporters.

Other sorts of responsibility may rest with Muslims, or with radical Muslims, if there is any difference, but then we get into recriminations and mote and beam removal services.

More references to specifics would help at all events, because we are dealing with a religion few of us in the West can have any first-hand experience of.

I’ve just found Funding Evil, a new book, which details how the Saudi Royal Family funds radical Islam and all the Jihad that comes with it.

Anybody got good sources on the evil Islam is speading?

And they raise money for Islamic schools in western nations. No such luck allowing Christian schools in Saudi Arabia.

That’s the problem with Islam, it can’t stand ‘competition’.

Jews do not declare war in order to convert people. The OT has it’s share of wars between those who believe in God and pagans who threatened their existence . Jews did not kill them to convert them but to preserve themselves. Jews were not killing monotheistic people who did not share their views. Jews did not start futuhat/wars to convert other nations. Jews were preserving their land and nation. All this was withing the Old Covenant were Jews and gentiles were in conflict and war. These wars were not an eternal command to convert others. The OT does not say what the Quran says, that war is prescribed on Jews.

Under the New Covenant, gentils and Jews were unified in the name of Christ. He ushered an era of peace between all nations. No more wars that differentiate Jews from others, no more rituals that differentiate Jews from others, no more dietary laws that differentiate Jews from others. All people are God’s sons in the Messianic covenant because God saved all, the gentile and the Jew.

If Muhammad wants to deny the Messianic covenant, as he surely does, it was better if he did not insert the name of Jesus in the list of prophets he believed in. He can’t consider him the Messiah and reject his covenant of peace. He can’t throw Jesus’ covenant and take people back to the old covenant and still claim to believe in Jesus. God did not usher an era of peace between nations in order to change His mind and send a warrior who wants to attacks pagans, Jews and Christians because they reject his belief. That’s not what war was for in the OT.

False comparison.

Firstly, the Moslem model has not end-date. The OT did.
But that raises the OP’s point–do we think God is changeable?
Secondly, non-combatant simply means that one can enslave women and children and raise them as Moslem, perhaps you think this is humane?
Compared to wholesale massacre? Sure. But the non-combatants who could not be killed were not just women and children. Christian clergy, for instance, were not supposed to be killed. That’s really quite remarkable when we are talking about a war of religious aggression.

No. As noted in argument with Ibn Taymiya here God has not changed. We have.

We were once as children. And we were allowed things we can’t be allowed now - for we’ve now grown-up.

If, for instance, you see a child smack another child, you don’t throw that child in gaol (jail to Americans). But an adult might face that, for an assault.
