#2. Many of us have read Islamic texts and realize that it was not the Angel Gabriel who spoke to Muhammad. In fact, Muhammad didn’t even know who did because when he went quivering and shaking to his wife she told him it was an angel. She didn’t see this spirit and had to take Muhammad’s words for it.

#3. The difference between Jesus talking to the devil is that He told him to go away, begone! Muhammad listened to the devil and made Islam from it all. The devil promises earthly wealth and carnal pleasures, and that is what Muhammad got and promised to those who would follow him. He also promised those things in Islam’s heaven if they followed what that dark spirit wanted.

#4. Muhammad twisted up a lot of Biblical stories. It isn’t surprising that he screwed up the story of Jesus.

#5. We are told time and again if anyone preached the opposite of what was taught by Jesus or the Bible that it was evil.

Jesus warned you about false prophets who would come to his followers, in his name. Please look around who came to you people in the name of Jesus. It was not Muhammad. Muhammad came in the name of Allah/God/ yahweh. That is written on top (beginning) of every chapter of the Quran (total 114 times). Muhammad did not come to church people and he did not come in the name of Jesus. So do not blame Muhammad for anything.

yep, I can see why people find you a little bit problematic. When you don’t like something then you accuse me of twisting. Nowhere did Muhammad call Allah, YHWH. Nowhere. Not on one place in the Quran, Hadith or Sira.

You tell me what Jesus said and didn’t say but you read from someone who was illiterate and was not a Jew or a Christian but a pagan. The ones who were with Jesus wrote Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and you disbelieve them. They could read and write, they were with Him for three years of his life when He started His ministery to His death.

As for bias, well yeah I am biased for Christ. I will admit that. I cannot follow Muhammad because he was so bad. Whether you want to believe that or not is up to you. But making judgements on Jesus if you haven’t read the New Testament is not a wise judgement.

Qwerk, islam skews the mind of its believers by instructing them to SUBMIT to something that they are not allowed to query and claiming everything else as corruption.

If we are brought up this way, we too might be shutting our minds to ideas that contrasted with what we are submitting to.

Unquestioning submission to unverified claims, qualifying all others as filth, threats of death if you depart - This is a perfect recipe for closed minds that lead to eternal damnation.

The establishment of islam took some thought, that I am sure. It is itself quite ‘amazing’ to see something so outrageously absurd yet able to contain everything within its boundaries of unflinching submission & fear, and with observers wondering how and why these people even wish to remain stuck within.

In Luke, Jesus only confirmed all the prophets upto John the Baptist. He said there had been prophets upto John the Baptist. That was to support John the Baptist because he too was rejected by his people.

John the Baptist was a prophet who had come before Jesus in the spirit of Elias, to cleat the way for the next prophet (i.e. Jesus). John had come to clear the way for the next prophet, not to clear the way for a God on earth. Why would God need any helper to clear his way???

You’re contradicting yourself there planten.

If you believe in Jesus, then you must believe Him when He said “I am the Truth the Way and the Life. No man goes to the Father except through me”. And…“I and the Father are one”.

Jesus said many things in His lifetime. Of which He openly classified those who call themselves as prophets after John the Baptist as LIARS.

Can I say I believe in you Planten, but I also believe you’re a eunuch and that you’re actually a Hindhu disguised as a muslim? Why do you write stuff before you find out what was said. It makes you look foolish.

Before Jesus came, the Angel Gabriel came to Zachariah that his elderly wife would bear him a son, John. And John would come before the Lord (Jesus). (Luke Chapter 1)

This is another instance where the Angel Gabriel came, and the Angel started out by saying, ‘Do not be afraid…’. Then Gabriel went to Mary and told her of her good news.

Compare that with the spirit, or entity, that Muhammad saw. It squeezed him and made him fearful. Muhammad went home to his wife whimpering and cowering in fear.

More from Luke Chapt 1 describing what Jesus’ mission will be:
77 to give his people the knowledge of salvation
through the forgiveness of their sins,

78 because of the tender mercy of our God, 
   by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven 

79 to shine on those living in darkness 
   and in the shadow of death, 
   to guide our feet into the path of peace."

I don’t really know why you get so angry planten. Muhammad did not have much luck in getting people to follow Islam either. The people knew there was a lot wrong with it, and they didn’t even know the worst of it yet when Muhammad was in his prostilytizing years. He only got about 100 people in 13 years to follow him. Only until he forced people to convert or made them fearful. This is what you are getting angry about. Muhammad saw a dark force, not the Angel Gabriel.

What Muhammad did was to tell us that the Angel Gabriel was a liar. He is not the liar and neither is God. Muhammad was the self-admitted liar who told his followers to lie and said that Allah lied. That is what Islam is based on and that is why so many have to use force and intimidation in Islam. And no matter if your sect is about that or not, it is what the majority of sects of Islam are about and to tell people differently is being disingenuous.

What did Muhammad give us? Hate, deception, murder, fear.
