I think the whole Muslim world is inflamed against the West primarily because of the graphic display of white people’s sexuality.

The post Christian white people are the ones who are now saying traditional values…I assume Judeo-Christian values…are values of white people…aka Jon Stewart on Comedy Central. He shows just how individualistic and myopic secular American white people have become. Many immigrating here from foreign countries hold on to traditional values, even if they are not Christian. They uphold marriage and disdain divorce. They disdain sexual promiscuity.

In Africa, I worked with African women abandoned by their husbands who went down the river looking for new partners. I saw some other African women walk by with purses, shoes on, Western dress. The women I worked with, who were not baptized yet, told me they looked down on those women because they were prostitutes…and who was doing the prostituting were Arab/Hindu men.

Human beings across color have a conscience and most normal people have a disdain for the rampant sexuality we see here in the USA. The Moslems many times are reacting to it and violently.

If only Americans could come to Mary our Mother, and women take on Mary as a role model, it could turn our country around one soul at a time. But the Far Left is going heavy on the race card right now, the atheists are winning removing Christ from public view and expounding on the priest scandals…that the Muslims have picked up and address as well.

It’s compatible and it’s seeping into their culture. Culture change is generational, not instant, and doesn’t result in one of the cultures involved becoming a carbon copy of the other.

Not only did the Muslims over run Spain they went over the mountains and straight for France. If it were not for Charles (the Hammer) Martel a Frankish leader we would have lost all of Europe. Fortunately the Muslim commander underestimated the resolve of the Franks and after the battle in 732 AD they left France and never tried to come back. Of course they have filled France with immigrants from North Africa so the French are losing the battle as many countries are. It took Spain over 700 years to rid the Iberian Peninsula of the Muslims. Did you know that in certain parts of the UK the government has already allowed the use of Shari law for the Muslim population?

Spain was originally Christian before being invaded by Muslims, though. That’s why it was called a “reconquista”. And they had really done nothing to antagonize the North African Muslims who would overrun the Peninsula.

So, Muslim invasion of Iberia= bad, invasion by pagan and Christian Germanic tribes prior to the Muslims= ok, invasion of pagan Rome prior to the Germanic tribes= ok, invasion of pagan Carthage prior to Rome= ok. Got it, thanks.

There was a movement here in NYC to build a large mosque named Cordoba. Many imams who heard about this were totally against it and saw it as most insensitive to our people who suffered the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001, that has gone down in history as one of the greatest attacks on human beings.

The problem with Cordoba, Spain and the rule of Islam is that all non Muslims had to wear green, wear badges identifying themselves, and were second class citizens in spite of the ‘golden era’ of culture. People were still enslaved, Jews and Christians.

Forcing Islam on you, or you caving into it and becoming one for survival, eventually destroys the life of Christ in your soul.

Sicily and Sardenia eventually overthrew Islam’s conquest by the Turks with the help of a King Frederick in Europe. The Mediterranean women were kidnapped and taken in as sex slaves. But in these cultures of Spain, Portugal, and the latter, the influence of the Arab world is still there.

Spain has really gotten a bad rap for the Inquisition, and its treatment of natives in the New World. I am not excusing it, but I remember our atheistic foreign history teacher in high school said so many times the victims become like the abusers.

Unfortunately when it comes to the history of Islam vs communism, it does look like it must be dealt with militarily. And military forces kill. I like reading articles on www.newageislam.com that is also fighting militant Islam, but like everybody else, they are afraid of them.

Likewise, I recall reading an article by Lebanese Muslims questioning why Islam does not go after the Russians and Chinese like they do the West. Some of them mentioned the degree of retribution, and then the Chinese, how they will go after opposing militant families for generations as pay back.

I see all of this as part of the presence of darkness in the world. I see the West…I see how Iraq has only used our military to take out Sadam, how many soldiers permanently maimed, the innocent working men and women and children killed in Iraq, their leaders turning to Russia and China for oil trade. Pope John Paul warned our former president very seriously not to go ahead with this war. And the price … I stand by our military…but military solutions…just as how it was finally used dealing with the Protestant Reformation…really destroys bonds and takes hundreds of years to reconcile.

i think right now there are different factions in the Muslim world. some want Islam to conquer the world and some want a caliphate returned to the middle east. i do believe they will try to spread Islam throughout the world as has already been done in Europe, Canada and the United States. if Christians cannot successfully evangelize, then Islam may not have a difficult time conquering the world. and those who are apathetic to religion will give no resistance to Islam spreading.

Correct…don’t let yourself be hypnotized into believing their hype…and they do not represent moderate Muslims either.

What helped me, watching TV, after 9/11, was a documentary about this radical Muslim leader in Great Britain, who has that hook on his arm. He was sitting with fellow radicals, but they were talking with moderate Muslims. A young Muslim imam courageously confronted them and told them their take in Islam was ‘a sickness’.

Some British have come on other sites and said the videos are showing a very small fraction of radicals, and most are not like that.

But they do good in making people aware. We really have to work on faith and morals in our country, and that is why Pope Benedict is praying for us to have increase in faith and began various, workable forms of evangelization.

Just this morning I saw a condemning report on ‘The Pill’, and all the adverse side effects for women using it. And the hypocrisy of men not being allowed to take steroids any more as they are equally damaging to men. So The Pill is political and it is fulfilling Pope Paul’s dire warnings in Humane Vitae where he was so ridiculed, that women would end up being sex objects.

And that is what the Muslim world is reacting to is the decrepid sex morals of our country…look, how many single women voted for the current president because of access to birth control.

In Europe, they are a demographic time bomb, and their numbers are exploding every year, both because of high birthrates as well as immigration.

If you want to see what an Islamic Europe would be like, all you have to do is go into the areas of major cities in Britain and France where Muslims already comprise a majority, like areas of East London or in French ZUS (Zones Urbaines Sensibles, Sensible Urban Zones).
