I don’t need to keep track of what they say when they do evil things against non-Muslims. I’ve heard them say before that we are pigs, specially jews, that we don’t have the right to exist, that I should leave their muslim countries, since I don’t belong there, that I don’t have the right to question them even if what they are proposing me to do were waste of time and resources, or unsafe and since I am just an employee and that they can terminate my contract anytime they want to.

Political reasons…oh, you mean “political” like how only 5% of the Philippines is Muslim (and mainly concentrated in a few areas), yet these groups of idiots like the Abu Sayyaf are fighting to establish their own independent government in Mindanao (I guess nobody told them that they already have that! They’re the only ones who do!) as a step towards an entirely Islamic SE Asia. Nevermind that SE Asia is already ~42% Muslim. If they can’t have it all and force everyone to believe their way, they’ll just keep murdering everbody until the only people who are left will follow them.

That’s what qualifies as “politics”, I guess…! It doesn’t sound any better to me than the quasi-American “you’re either with us or your with the terrorists” sort of philosophy that Muslims around the world claim to be so righteously angry about. Whether the motives are “political” or “religious” or a mixture of both, these terrorists are just another group of bullies trying to get respect and obedience by intimidating people. Who cares what their political motive is? Is it worth other people’s lives just because those people aren’t Muslim? NO.

I suppose if you believe that the 5% of the Philippines that is Muslim is justified in fighting for “independence”, then you will of course support the independence of the Copts from modern Egypt, since they are even more of the population (~10%), and they’ve been in Egypt since before the Muslims were in the Philippines (or Egypt, or anywhere, for that matter)? Also independence of the Christians in Lebanon (~25%), Ethiopia (45%), Eritrea (50%), Jordan (6%), Malaysia (9%), Indonesia (9%), etc. All of these countries have a larger percentage of Christians than the Philippines has of Muslims. When was the last time you heard of a Christian “Abu Sayyaf”-type group in any of them? It is only Muslims who feel that they are justified in doing this, because their religion tells them that they are. So they fight for “idependence”, and everywhere where there is some Muslim population there is always a group that practices terrorism against the government and civilians, all in the name of “liberating” their community when they generally already have their own autonomous government (Muslim Mindanao, Chinese Turkestan, etc.). Just admit it: Muslims often cannot bear to live with people who have a different religion and different values. That is why Christians are murdered in Palestine for selling Christian books or alcohol or other things to their own community, that are not haram to them but are to Muslims. It is all about destroying other ways of life, because Islam cannot permit them. (link)

Look, I understand where you are coming from. Catholics face the same criticisms whenever one of our members or clergy sin. The difference is, I don’t see anything in Islamic teaching that leads me to believe that Muslims value “getting along”. By that I mean, getting along for the sole purpose of getting along and for love of neighbor. Sure, I’ve seen the Quran verses from the Mecca days, before Muhammad had power that discusses getting along… for the sake of saving themselves. But those verses were abrogated by the Medina verses which are all about slaughtering and persecuting non-Muslims… Verses that came about after Muhammad had power and enough followers to carry out attacks against non-Muslim populations to spread Islam through violence. There is no “Golden Rule” in Islam.

i can give you worth stories from christianity churchs itself , stories of violence from priests themselfs

anyway , a simple google search shows up scads of aricles which talking about peace in islam and condemnation of muslims to terrorism , it isn’t a big dial

afterall , we don’t learn islam from stories , we have quran and sunnah to know our religion , and majority devout muslims lives in the world by quran and sunnah without any violence

you just inclined to explore one side (terrorist side ) and be blind about the other , and you have no sincere intension to explore the truth about islam , all your interests are about the existence of bad muslims , i think as if it was enough for you to hate islam unfairly even if you knew that many muslims hate the terrorism which happenes in the name of islam as well ( note , i don’t refer to you personally )
