Catholicism for Dummies By Rev. John Trigilio and Rev. Kenneth Brighenti.
Really! I bought it as a joke, but I read it and it’s really insightful and gives a lot of clear cut, easy to follow information. But it doesn’t skimp out on truth…at all. It explains why things in the church are the way they are…including their stance on things like gay marriage, and women priests, and priests getting married and Marian devotion and how to pray things like the Rosary and the Angelus and the Chaplet of Devine Mercy. It even goes into things like Church history and things like that. It even has a section of “Ten Famous Catholic Saints” “Ten Famous Catholic Places” and “Ten Famous Catholic People” AND a list of all the popes up to JP2!! A real must read for anyone wanting to know more about the Catholic faith.
