Must-read encyclicals

If you had to choose three papal encyclicals that every Catholic had to read at some point, which would they be?
 
Oh wow…there are a lot, but my personal favorite is Ecclesia de Eucharistia.

I often have to refer to chapter 4 to help explain why we have closed Communion, but John Paul the Great also makes it a very in depth study of this “source and summit” of our Catholic faith.
 
“The Mystical Body of Christ.” - Pope Pius XII

“Ineffabilis” - Pope Pius XI

“Rerum Novarum” and “Immortale Dei” - Pope Leo XIII (sorry, I had to put a fourth one in.)
 
Humanae Vitae - Pope Paul VI

Rerum Novarum - Pope Leo XIII

Spe Salvi - Pope Benedict XVI
