Hello,
I have a question about the dogma of virgin birth, specifically about the virginity of the Mother of God during the birth of our Lord. I know that this dogma is usually held to mean that the Mother of God stayed intact at all times.
I don’t want to argue against this belief and I acknowledge that God is perfectly capable of performing this miracle. But is there actually any papal document that says so? In other words, are we obligated to believe that the dogma of “virginity during birth” has the specific meaning I mentioned above?
Thank you very much in advance.
