In the Lutheran, Orthodox and Catholic Churches, one must work to lose one’s salvation.
At the time of Baptism, one is saved.
God’s pours His love into our new hearts, and we are saved.
The babies are saved.
They have God’s love poured into their new hearts. God’s love gives them kindness, patience, chastity, sobriety and all of the other characteristics of His love. It is His love in human nature.
As the parable of the farmer that watches the crops grow, we do not know how we grow, but we do grow.
As in the Garden of Eden, evil is introduced from the Devil, the individual and the world. This is true after Baptism. We have to work at introducing our children to alcohol, lust and greed.
I am aware that there are 10,000 other realities that need to be taken into account, but at infant Baptism one is saved. We introduce the pride, anger, greed, gluttony, envy, lust and spiritual laziness.
I know that the idea needs much more clarification, but the idea, I believe, is correct.
