Hey Scott,
I’m still praying for Tessa. She sounds like a very strong little girl. I’m going to say a rosary for her tonight.
God Bless you all!
Pam

Thanks all. Yes, I have a bad update:

The last day of chemo was awful. It was a ten-hour day, and she vomitted twice, and her stomach hurt so bad that she cried. She didn’t eat that day or Sat or Sunday. (Chemo really messes up the stomach, so food is the last thing a person wants). That’s scary for a parent because she has no body fat to spare. But on the following Monday she was eating a bit, and after a week her appetite was almost normal and she acted like her normal self with the exception of low endurance.

That was one week ago. On Saturday her hair started falling out, just a tiny bit. On Tues this week when she had another blood test she was shedding rapidly. The blood test was bad – white blood count was 168 when the minimum safe level is 1000. Now she’s almost completely bald and she’s back in the hospital. She came down with something during the night. She aches all over and she’s running a fever, and when you basically don’t have an immune system that is very, very bad.

Wife is with her in the hospital. I’m home with the two little kids waiting for a call from a possible babysitter.

Not good. :crying:

Scott,

I will continue to pray for Tessa, as well as you and your entire family. I’ll ask Our Blessed Mother to be with you (as she was with her Son as He suffered on the cross) during this time of terrible suffering.

God Bless,
Gary

I know this doesn’t really help you, and i know you don’t know me from a bar of soap - but i wish i was close by - i would babysit for you…

Keeping your precious daughter and family close to my heart and prayers. May God give Angela and yourselves a rainbow amongst the storm raging in your hearts and minds.

I’m so sorry Scott. Give Tessa a hug and kiss from me and know you all are in my prayers. Tim

I’m still praying for her. Poor little thing.
I’m praying for you and your wife also.
This is so hard on all of you.

Dear Scott … I hope you have been able to get to the hospital…and will be keeping your daughter in prayer with St. Rita - patron of desperate causes…Barb

Scott, I took intentions of healing for Tessa to Mass today with the Eucharist as an offering. It was a special Mass as the Church was full of relics of St.'s. About 20 including St. Peter’s cross and a relic of St. Joesph. We did a Litany of the Saints after Mass. I hope this helps in some way. I know your family’s struggle and have continued prayers for all of you. Tim
